Planet Fitness

Gym floor is large and, although it’s first generation equipment, it’s got everything you need. Staff was super friendly. Having said that, the whole place was dusty/dirty (like little balls of “stuff” all over floor and equipment) and it wasn’t well lit. Showers were super hot but a hairy mess. Bring your own hairdryer as there are none available.

Not too crowded. Seems clean, affable staff, but people do not wear masks properly and have not seen any enforcement from staff.

It's good place to work out and the employees are kind been long here for 4 years and it's perfect it's open 24/7 so it good but the only bad thing they do steal have to lock all ur stuff !

Never too crowded, plenty of machines, nice staff, clean place. I’ve been to a lot worse gyms, so this one gets full points because I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to use a machine or rack because they have plenty, and it’s clean

Compared to the Planet Fitness which is also located in Denton TX on South Interstate, this place doesn't really compare. The space is a lot smaller and the place can only be described as feeling a way too cramped. The smell also contained inside the gym is a lot less pleasant.

I can into this location & attempted to cancel my membership with $0.00 costs to me. I am currently moved to an area with no planet fitness locations near me. When I started this membership I even inquired about a planet fitness location near my new home because I didn’t see it online. The individual assured me there was one close “it’s just not showing up on line for some reason”.I came into the location today was treated poorly because I wanted to cancel. I asked the manager Brook for specific information but she was reluctant to provide me with the information I needed and sent me to google for information instead of providing me with information like the customer service line.Brook told me to call another planet fitness location to get the number & walk away. I called another location they gave me the wrong number. After getting the correct number they told me that they couldn’t cancel the membership with out the fees & that only a manager. Not good customer service.

Clean, brightly lighted facilities, well-maintained shiny-clean working machines with many TVs to watch (or not). Friendly welcoming managers to explain what's available. Clean, spacious restrooms with nice private showers & dressing areas, lockers, open classroom-sized areas.This older NightOwl Loves the 24 hour access to work out or relax and recover from life. Massage table, massage chairs are favorites on bad fibro/chronic fatigue days to keep me moving. My workouts can be adjusted for varying energy levels and nobody cares!Water & energy drinks available at a discount for mbrs & memberships are occasionally on special.Great place!

The only complaint I have is not enjoying the new machines. They are not practical when it comes to storage. The old machines had deep cup holders so you could place yr cell phones and ect. I don't feel like my personals are secured now.

I am very impressed by the outstanding job David and Natalie put forth on my visit on April 2, 2019. They were both very accommodating and friendly. I felt welcome and important to planet fitness. Hooray to both David and Natalie at planet fitness on W. University Dr. In Denton, Texas. Job well done!

Gets pretty crowded sometimes and the music isn’t really what I hear most people listening to for a workout. But the staff is friendly and I appreciate the option of a stand-up tanning “bed” (some other locations I’ve been to only have lay-downs).
