I only ever use the treadmills and stationary bikes and I've never had to wait to use one. I think it's a safe, clean gym and I'll continue to use it.

The billing system is a mess. I had my fiance on my account and they never charged me, now we have a collection notice from a bill that never came in. The cancelation is impossible. You have to buy your way out.

New management is actually a joke. Been here for two years. Never had a problem with any of VASA workers. But this new management will push people out the doors. The GM to narrow it down.

I did Studio Red at the Jewell location. Super workout. John the instructor was great, full of energy and enthusiasm. I look forward to doing more Studio RED classes and using the rest of the Vasa facilities.

This Vasa used to have a zumba class on Fridays at 0830. It was always a fun class and a great workout. I had been busy and unable to go for several weeks and to my disappointment when I returned the class was rebel groove. I tried the class and did not enjoy it at all. A few days later I called to express my disappointment with the loss of zumba to the main manager Shannon of vasa Denver. I told her I wished they kept zumba and not changed it to rebel. Shannon got extremely aggressive on the phone yelled, "I'm not going to take any bullying!" She caught me off guard and continued on to say it's her decision what classes happen, the current instructor of rebel (new class at 0830(teaches classes full time and that's Shannon's choice, not anyone else's. She was incredibly rude, interrupted me, and belittled me for letting her know I preferred zumba. She went on to say the zumba classes and instructors cause too much drama. I told her there was no need to say I was bullying her, and she went on to say people are emailing corporate about the loss of zumba and threatening her staff. I was completely caught off guard not knowing the situation she was referring to, but simply offering a suggestion to have the early morning zumba time again. She completely lost it, was unprofessional and did not act in any capacity as a "manager". She never even apologized but did admit she was frustrated dealing with problems related to zumba. Still not okay to take it out on a customer.Other things about this gym. It's incredibly filthy. The toilets are supposed to be automatic but they don't work. There is often stool, urine unflushed in every toilet, and trash on the floors. Front desk staff was informed, they said, "they don't work right".Also first the massage chair when you walk in the room smelled of urine, very gross. I told the front desk staff, he said "no one else has said that". That was his response. Nothing else.Please vasa, do better with management and staff. I hope Shannon is held accountable for her treatment of customers, and she shouldn't be telling a customer problems the gym is having when they are not involved. Very unprofessional. Also please have a variety of instructors. Shannon said 1 instructor teaches full-time which may not be the best choice if students prefer a variety of instructors.

Was excited to check out the gym and was given a free guest pass, but was turned away at the door because I have an out of state ID. Then was told I could pay $15 for a day pass. Was an eager customer to try out a new gym, and was turned away at the door for having an out of state ID. Poor customer service.I’d highly recommend 24 Hour fitness for anybody in the area.

It’s a fine gym if you don’t have high expectations. The equipment is outdated, making it frustrating to use… especially if you need to adjust it. I don’t love the overall set up. You get trapped as you’re trying to walk around and look at equipment options, trying to leave, etc. I don’t like walking through the entire pool area to get to the sauna/steam room. There’s also no where to lounge in the pool area which is really nice at other gyms. The customer service is subpar at best. The tanning beds definitely don’t work so there’s no point in doing that and wasting your time. If I wanted to ONLY LIFT FREE-WEIGHTS, this might be where I’d go but even then it’s SO OVERCROWDED that it’s not even worth driving to get there. It’s pretty much just a huge waste of time and money. I bought a membership, went to the very packed gym, and cancelled as soon as I left. CHUZE fitness >>>> VASA.

For the most part, VASA has everything I need to get a proper workout in. Great variety of machines to get your workout done even if what you ideally want is taken. Time of day definitely matters as it can get super packed. The reason for the docked stars is that there are some machines that are in need of some minor repairs and it seems like they're constantly having problems with their hydromassage chairs going down. Incredibly frustrating since it's an amenity their members are paying for.
