The absolute worst vasa in the Denver area. People here love to claim they're using 2- 3 machines at once, it's always overcrowded, machines are always down. People film themselves in the small locker room constantly, the sauna is always packed and dirty, people that go here have no respect for others. The parking lot is also always a mess, can't even see half the lines to park your car. People think they own things here and they don't it's a public gym. I've almost gotten into 2 fights here because i speak up and don't let people treat me bad nor do I let people think they own the gym. Your bag doesn't claim a bench for 15 minutes while you're doing a different exercise on the other side of the gym, yeah I'm gonna walk in front of you filming if your filming in the locker room walkway between the lockers and urinals and the exit of the locker room. No I'm not gonna wait until you finish your locker room video for me to walk out. There's signs everywhere that say no filming, then you wanna push me because I'm trying to leave and your in the middle of the walkway. I'm gonna toss hands next time a jackass here does that to me. I've been going to gyms my entire life and have never had a negative experience until I came to this POS vasa location. I live 12 minutes from here, first time coming to this vasa in months, now I remember why I drive 30 minutes to church ranch Blvd vasa everyday. It's clean, the people are nice and respectful, and the employees actually say hello when you walk in.If any higher ups in Vasa see this, this place needs a lot of work and crowd management.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I been to all the vasas in Colorado and this is hands down the worst. This gym has the most employees that never do anything but gossip at the front desk. Jacuzzi always dirty, sauna smells moldy, steam room broken at least once a week and they like to shut the steam room off early at 10pm when I pay for that to stay open until 12am uncleaned machines and dirty floors always. Never any sanitary whipes Never find parking. Theft is high inside and outside. Shut this place down or hire a whole new team.

Typically overcrowded, weights are often scattered around the facility, and they charged nearly $70 to cancel the membership. They charge extra to use the pool/spa and then don’t maintain the cleanliness or chemical levels in them well. Overall disappointed with the experience.

I've had to remove my previous review and post this new one due to recent issues with Vasa's billing model. Overall, I go to this gym because it's close to home. However, I'm highly considering finding a different one in the near future. Chuze, for example, has always provided phenomenal experience.Billing IssuesOn their website they state that if you pay your monthly membership using a credit card, you'll be charged an extra $2.50 per transaction. That's understandable. However, when I changed my payment method to a bank account, I was still charged the extra $2.50. I then reached out to their support chat and the representative explained that the billing system doesn't adjust the amount automatically. That's highly suspicious and unethical. The company they use for billing is Paramount Acceptance, a large SaaS billing company for gyms. They don't have systems in place to update a customer's billed amount after they change their payment method? I know they do, because if you switch your payment method from a bank to a credit card you'll be charged that extra $2.50.Furthermore, when I brought this issue up with the representative, they offered no refund for the month I was overcharged for. I had to inquire about a refund, which they then complied. The gym itself:It's a decent gym. Typically, the workout areas are relatively clean and most machines / racks are not broken. However, there's a T O N of people and going to this gym between the hours of 7AM and 6PM is a nightmare most days. They have a good number of treadmills, about 6 squat / deadlift racks, and a full row of dumbbells with dumbbells of about 30lbs and less have multiple pairs. The basketball court has wood floors that are quite warped. They typically keep the nets of the baskets in good shape though.Maybe half the employees are super nice and friendly, the other half are hit-or-miss. The membership options are very affordable, starting at $10 a month for the most basic type. You'll see this in other reviews of this gym as well: there are usually many people who park in the handicap spots (who have no handicap placard) and people who park in the fire lanes. I've brought this issue up multiple times with the employees and they respond with a rehearsed customer service statement ("oh thanks for letting us know I'll definitely notify management"), then just stand there and continue talking with each other.

1) Over crowded - most of the time you won't get on any piece of equipment you want accept cardio without waiting anywhere from 15 - 60 mins. You can use google traffic meter or ask the employees, but I am telling you, the only times that are decent enough to get any real training done are 4-4:30 am, and 11:15 pm -12 am. Maybe group classes are different, I can't speak to that.2) Lack of good hygienea) Mens Locker Room Hygiene:i) Smells like and Elephant cageii) Floors, Benches, Even the inside of lockers covered in dirtand possibly moldiii) People(mostly high schooler) hanging around blasting there music from their phones and rapping/singing out loudwith the music. Not just one day but both days I went. Thisis not a big deal, but it speaks to what type of consumersare being targeted by Vasa. This is more of a frat housethan a fitness club.b) Workout Areas Hygiene:i) There are many stations with sanitary wipes to wipe downmachines, but only two or three are ever filledii) Trashcans overflowing with garbage, Bottles, and wipesiii) Used wipes laying all over the floor by equipment. Icounted 35 dirty wipes laying on the floor next tomachines the last day I visited the gym and no one everpicked them up.Could it be that people don't take the effort to throw thewipes away because there is no room in the trash cans?iV) Only 10-20% of members actually use the wipes whenthey are available.v) People working out shirtless and pouring their sweat allover the machines and floor.3) Lack of policy enforcementa) People not told to put a shirt onb) People wearing house slippers, flip flops and even oneperson with no shoes on at all.c) Most people don't wipe down machinesd) People not re-racking their weights- all these policies are in the contract but no one everenforces them. I'm really not even surewhy there are staff members as all they do is sit behind adesk on their phones. If any one of the staff were to enforcethe policies they are supposed to, they wouldn't have time towatch Youtube due to the shear number of violationshappening every second. If you think I am exaggerating, by all means go find out for your self. But here is a piece of advice for you:You will be told that there is an early cancellation fee if you cancel within 6 months, but that is not entirely accurate. If you cancel withing 3 business days after signing up the contract becomes void and you technically don't owe them anything. Some reviews claim they had issues with cancellation that led to collection attempts. I tried to cancel online but the form was trying to make me pay the cancellation fee and first month membership dues in order to proceed with cancellation, so I called the number on the page and the rep told me the website is not set up to handle the 3 days cancellation policy. The rep canceled the account for me, but apparently it can take up to a couple weeks to receive the confirmation email and there will be no confirmation number they can give you verbally, so you would be advised to record the call or have them send you a text message indicating the cancellation.Vasa - save your generic message telling me you're sorry to hear about my bad experience. If you guys were truly sorry you would make changes. So many people are saying the same thing! And you won't find my account by looking up the email address or name I am posting this review under. If you reply to this review in the same generic fashion people will learn that you are a bot!

This is hands down the worst gym I’ve ever been to. The women’s bathroom is covered in wet hair and it looks like it hasn’t been deep cleaned in months. I find myself heavily modifying my workouts because it’s way overcrowded. They completely oversold memberships and refuse to take any accountability. I was there for 45 minutes last night and got two lifts in due to the overcrowding. After reading similar reviews, it seems they have the same insincere response. How much do you want to bet they are going to reply to this review with:We sincerely apologize for the negative experience you had at our gym. We understand your concerns regarding overcrowding and hygiene, and we strive to provide a clean and comfortable environment for all members. We appreciate your feedback and we will bring this back to our team so we can address it ASAP!

Pretty busy even at 3PM but easily the best option in the area. Sauna Steam Lap Pool Basketball Court. Lots of group exercise classes. Spacious floor plan with lots of cardio equipment. Not a lot of standard benches but plenty of free weight bench and 6 Olympic lift areas. If you can attend off peak it’s basically a perfect gym.
