It's definitely the best gym in the area in my opinion. This gym is much larger than other VASA locations. Most members are friendly and the manager and other employees are great. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there is a serious shortage of weight plates. The weight trees are always empty and you'll have hunt down plates most of the time, which can be very challenging when it's crowded. There just aren't enough plates to go around. Still, well worth the price.Update: I had to take off another star. The weight shortage problem is really bad during peak hours. 4 separate times now I’ve had somebody steal the weights that I’m using on my machine while I’m hunting down additional weights across the gym despite having my water and stuff on the equipment. This gym needs twice the weight plates that it currently has.

Staff was friendly and helpful when i went in for a free trial. BUT the equipment was all incredibly old. Like older than I've ever seen at a gym, and I've been to a lot of gyms. Cardio equipment especially was ancient. And I'm not a neat freak but the whole place was kind of dirty and the bathroom and locker room were absolutely filthy. Like embarrassingly dirty. Do they not have a custodial staff? Never going back

This gym is far too busy to enjoy. It usually takes several minutes to find parking, and there is often a wait for most of the equipment. Waiting in a line for a squat rack or free weights is especially bad. My workouts take twice as long as they need to here. There is also a full months fee for canceling your membership, regardless of when it’s cancelled, which isn’t great because I’m not getting my money’s worth in the first place. One extra star since the place is clean and the equipment itself is good.Another extra star for someone waiving the cancellation fee for me.

These was my first visit to the gym, the 8pm gym is super crowded, very difficult to find plates to even work out. I decided to do the bike just to wait to see if it clears out. Nope 930-10pm and gym still, busy as heck.Bathrooms are beyond dirty, but i guess is because is so busy. Anyways I wont be coming back but to cancel my menbership only.

My biggest mistake was switching from 24 hour fitness to Vasa. It’s like going from streaming service to cable. Initially signing up for a membership seemed to be an inconvenience for the staff. I was rushed through the process and was made to believe it’s simple. I went to Vasa 1 time only due to personal schedule giving me no free time. A month later I get an email stating the payments didn’t go through due to the wrong card information. I didn’t bother correcting it being I no longer had time for the gym. 6 months later I get a call from debt collectors. Threatening to put a ding on my credit. On top of that this all started from the staff entering in my credit card incorrectly. Apparently Vasa treats memberships like cable companies back in the day. Even canceling a membership is like breaking a lease agreement. I had to pay a bunch of fees and deal with rude customer service reps. What should be a simple paid service is a bunch of hidden BS underneath. Go with 24 hour fitness. It’s a pay as you go gym. No hidden agendas. Straight forward.

**Response from owner says they reached out. No one has contacted me via phone or email and neither has changed since I was a client.**In 2019 I started coming here and got set up with one of the personal trainers he was nice. I made him aware of some pre existing conditions, I did however get injured and got a doctors note to pause sessions. Billing even sent me a refund check because they had billed me even though my account was on hold. Then the fun 2020 pandemic hit and I had cancelled my plan everything was fine and dandy. Till I got a 2000 collection notice. Apparently they decided to not cancel my plan and to keep charging me for the personal training sessions but I had switched banks because like many people during the pandemic I was laid off, so nothing was going through. I tried to talk to the location, I tried to talk to their corporate but no they state once it has gone to collections they cant do anything. Which I know is not true. Vasa is a nice gym however make sure you keep a paper trail when dealing with billing.

I saw a guy taking photos of a young woman doing kickbacks. I walkers up to him to confront him and saw with my own eyes the photo on his phone. Confronted him and he threatened me. I went to the front desk and reported it after which the staff member had me walk around to 2 other members and tell them what happened, making it rather unsafe for me. I finally asked them if they have a protocol and the gentleman at front desk told me that’s a good question becausr that’s the first time it’s happened and he’s worked there for a year.I had my kids in the kids club, an angry man who threatened my safety and taking photos of young women at the gym, and the staff did not know what to do. After speaking to three different members with all of them around me, I said you know what at this point you’re making it very unsafe for me and I have to get my kids out of the kids club and get home safe so I’ll just leave.Thursday last week. I thought it was pathetic. Switched locations.

Wish employees would walk the floor consistently and refill wet wipe stations, put away weights, wipe equipment etc. Also lots of bikes are broken for over a month now and nothing is being done. They also don't check the pool/sauna area do anyone can go in there regardless if what membership you're paying for.

The gym itself has awesome amenities for the price, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The 3 stars comes from the INSANITY of this place anytime you go during “normal” workout hours. You can’t even find parking it’s so busy, and nearly every piece of equipment is being used in the very large gym!! Not necessarily VASA’s fault, but it ended up being too crazy for us so we went back to a different gym.

You get what you pay for. At least 4 TVs in the cardio area are broken or at least never on. Many pieces of cardio equipment make terrible sounds. The trash cans are often overflowing with trash, and you’ll probably have to go to multiple wipe dispensers before you find one with wipes to wipe down your equipment. There are usually 2-5 employees just standing at the front desk not doing anything but scrolling on their phones.
