This place started double charging me 6 months ago. When I notified them they refused to stop charging me so I had to put a stop payment at the bank. After the hassel of proving that they were cheating me I did get a refund . Then this month the start double charging my credit card. What the heck is going on!!! Very rude staff and very unsanitary conditions.

As a beginner gym user I have to say this PF location has been very helpful to me. I use a lot the the cardio equipment which all has been replaced within the last 3-4 months and I have started to incorporate some of the weight resistant machines. It has helped me begin a strong regimen that overspills into my daily life. I feel I have more mobility and energy. I haven't used any of the free fitness training PF offers but suspect I will in my own time as they offer classes frequently when I visit. I do use the Planet Fitness App that helps me keep accountable when I record my daily workouts. I like to see where I have started to where I am now.I love how friendly the staff and trainers are but most of all how clean the gym is. I am a Black Card Member and also use the Total Body Enhancement, Tanning, Hydromassage and Massage Chairs. Great price for the amenities I receive. Thanks for helping me continue my health and wellness goals PF-Elgin.

After 6 months of dealing with cancer surgery went into the club to get my account straightened out. Paul the manager was amazingly helpful and kind. This rare customer service creates brand loyality! More businesses should learn this. Thanks!!

Clean, new equipment, and good price but please fix the scales already!! I appreciate the amenities and all but the only extras I use are the tanning beds and the scales. The scales are always out of batteries for a week or more, frustrating.

I used to work out at the bloomingdale location and it was horrible. Bloomingdales location was small, the staff was incredically rude, and something was always broken. So, I started to come to the Elgin location where the staff is very young but a lot nicer then the staff at bloomingdale. I like this location because it’s a lot bigger and for $10 a month what more can you ask for ? Although recently this location has been having a lot of plumbing Problems. I went the other day and I couldn’t use the bathroom sink or drinking fountain. They apologized for the inconvenience but can a gym even be open without all those things ?

I always feel comfortable working out here. The staff is so friendly and the facility is always clean. Staff keeps up on locker room cleanliness, garbage cans, etc. Even at the busiest hour, the gym is not too chaotic and the environment is not overwhelming

Place is clean, and the equipment is nice and new. Obviously it's busier during the week in the evenings, but I've never seen it so crowded I couldn't get a machine. Wish they had more rowers though, there are only 3, and sometimes I have to wait a bit to get one. But overall, it's a good gym, and the $10 membership fee is just what I wanted to pay.

Enjoy going to this gym. There’s a great atmosphere and I always feel welcome. People here are super nice and super motivational.I get my workouts done and the place is always in great conditions.

I’m beyond unhappy with the customer service from this location. I was injured in a car accident this past April and was told by their membership services that the ONLY way I can freeze my membership is by coming into the facility and physically presenting a letter and doctor’s note. I was unable to drive for months and am still to this day unable to use my membership due to my injury. I sent a letter to this branch in November and have yet to receive a response regarding my membership cancellation. I sent another letter today regarding this issue, including a note from my physician stating that I am to be refunded for all billing from May 2017 until present and probably won’t receive a response yet again or a proper refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using Planet Fitness at all, my experience has been so negative during an already difficult time.
