I thought the people at the front desk were nice, helpful and enthusiastic! Good vibes the minute I came in. The facility was clean and I felt secure with that. Including the locker room. All good in my world!

These people make it so difficult to cancel. We moved halfway through covid when they were still closed and the place we live now doesn’t have a PF within 1 1/2 hours. We were never informed they reopened and paid for almost a year of no use. When we tried to call in to cancel we couldn’t. You apparently have to physically mail in paperwork in order to cancel. We just stopped payment with our bank because it was easier and now we’re harassed weekly by calls and texts asking for billing. I’ve spoken to them several times but unless you get all the paperwork together (photocopies of DL and other random stuff) and mail it in they won’t cancel. So dumb since signing up is so simple. Other than this they’re great, but any business who doesn’t allow cancellations when someone wants to cancel isn’t worth much. Bad form planet fitness, you guys should be better than that. You shouldn’t need to swindle people out of money if you are a reputable business.

They greet you with a smile as you come in and "see you soon" as you leave. The gym is extremely clean. I go for the one on one training and my trainer, Nick, is the best. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all types of adaptations to exercises for my physical limitations but still keeps my routines challenging and fresh. This gym is a supportive environment for all exercise levels and all ages. Considering it is the first gym I have ever belonged to, I feel so comfortable. I am so grateful to have found this particular Planet Fitness in Elgin as the people make the experience.

Not sure how you can beat the value for the price. Very clean. Everyone seems very respectful of each others space and wipe down after using equipment. My go to gym for a efficient work out. Wish they had more free weights but just not that kind of gym. Regardless, great gym.

They’ve charged me several annual fees within this year alone. Even though, I complained about this, they keep charging me. Even during the quarantine when they were closed. I spoke to several people and each one have told me that they won’t charge me again, only that they have. No one has resolved this issue. Reporting to the BBB now!

Everyone is so awesome. Brian is a trainer that I see. He is so helpful and amazing. The place is very clean. Even the people that workout there are friendly. Plenty of machines

Clean gym, upgraded equipment in March 2019. Friendly staff. Tanning beds, water massage beds and light therapy booths are available for use with the PF Black Membership card.

I tried calling and asking to cancel my membership because I do not feel comfortable coming in during a global pandemic and they said my only options are to cancel in person (again, global pandemic) or to write a letter. A letter? Really? At least Lifetime Fitness was in this century when I cancelled my membership and was able to do it over the phone.Get your act together guys.

This gym is always clean, the staff that check you in are super nice. They recently added more machines and there is a class session you can get with a profesional trainer. It’s a great place for a work out !
