The equipment is old but the staff is solid and welcoming provided you are intent on bettering yourself. The prices are right and the spots are always available.

Love the location, and hours - however; pretty disappointing that they no longer have a trainer at this location. I used to meet with Nick daily and having the group and trainer to keep me accountable made all the difference in my fitness. I have left and came back several times hoping they would bring back trainers sadly I'm still waiting... 😔

The community, the positive contagious attitude, the difficult workouts all make this place super special. This places cares about you and it shows. By my second day the coaches had already remembered my name and had tailored things to my physical fitness levels.

A few days ago my husband and I came in and one of the staffs not sure if they were in a bad mood or what was going on. But they slammed the scanner down rolled their eyes were very rude when it was my husbands turn to scan his phone they than proceeded to pick it up and slam it down again while rolling their eyes not even sure if the phone scanned right or not because after that they walked away to go gossip in a corner. I love this place have been coming here since December of last year never had any problems. But that entire day was just so uncomfortable basically stared down at the whole time we were there ended up leaving earlier than anticipated.

I transferred from West Dundee to Elgin, Il.  The process was smooth. The woman helping me went out of her way to make sure my needs were attended to while helping others.  Once I finished the forum she said "welcome to your new club".  I made the right decision to stay with Planet Fitness.  When You have 3 Health Clubs within 5 Minutes of each other it's important to find a club where you fit in.  Every day since.. they welcome me with a smile no matter how many people are needing help.  When you walk in there's someone setting the tone of the club.  Friendly, inspiring, and professional.  All good feelings to feel when you walk in the doors. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE! I used to spend a fortune on personal trainers. No more - my membership includes any classes they offer. they're not your typical fitness classes, they're weightlifting, core, e.t.c. It's pretty much like free small group personal training!Everyone is so welcoming and the facility is very clean. I'll always be a member at PF Elgin.Brian in Elgin is the best trainer in the area and I've tried quite a few!

I like the atmosphere and really nice staff here. Definitely a good gym and super close to my house. Highly recommend.

I go to this planet fitness four times a week, and have been a members of three previous planet fitness locations. I have never been to one with such kind staff. The assistant manager, Tracy is so kind. He greets me by name, and Tracy even made special check in accommodations for me when I had issues with my phone. I really appreciated it, and it makes going to the gym a pleasure to be treated like a person, and not an account. I highly recommend this planet fitness :)

It is a clean place to work out. The employers are very friendly. When I come in to work out, several of the employees greet me by my 1st name.

9/5/2020Would not recommend, tried to cancel online and on the phone, even called Corporate with no help. Had to go in to cancel and they would not reverse any charges even though I had tried canceling prior. For a big company and with the current pandemic on going they should be more accommodating instead of making people physically go in.
