This is Ashley Spencer this is the continued part of my review.Pg 2 of 2Which leads us to today. At 8:30pm I CALLED PLANET FITNESS and asked the gal that amswered the phone if it closed at 9:00pm she said yes i asked if i was still able to tan until 9:00pm she said yes. So I DROVE over here only to be greater by Joe again. When I scanned my membership she said you can't tan so I asked "why" naturally as I'm sure anyone would that had previously called a few minutes prior and was told YES they could tan up until closing at 9:00pm. I explained that I had just called and was told yes. I even brought up my call log. She then said well the girl that answered the phone isn't up at the desk right now and she usually works mornings so it's no surprise she doesn't know what she's doing. Once again Joe's attitude, tone and body language were very rude and NOT at all what I'm guessing the management team expects or teaches in training.I asked Joe if she could maybe mention to the managers that there is some pretty big miss communication going on and maybe suggest a review of policy/rules so that ALL STAFF MEMBERS ARE ON THE SAME PAGE AND GIVNG THE SAME ANSWERS because i have now driven down here twice for NO REASON. ONLY TO BE TOLD SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND TO BE DISRESPECTED BY STAFF. I was very calm respectful and prosocial during both interactions I've had with Joe. I have been in customer service for a long time. I also know that miscommunication happens often between different shifts at work. I GET IT. However as a customer I shouldn't be treated as if I did something wrong or as if I was Inconveniening the staff that was working. I then asked for the mangers name as well as her name. She was very reluctant to give me hers and when I asked for her coworkers name she proceeded to say. " IF SHE WAS UP HERE SHE WOULD HAVE HER NAME TAG ON AND THEN YOU WOULD KNOW HER NAME BUT SHES NOT" I said WHAT? you can't tell me your co-workers name? I wasn't going to argue with her and there was also another customer waiting g to be helped. So I said that's fine you don't have to give it to me. Thank you have a good night. As I was walking away she said you can come in and talk to the manager Monday if you want and then you can get my co-workers name 😮😮😮 WOW...is all I can say right now...WOW....I'm seriously thinking about canceling my membership because of the recent customer service or lack of I should say.

I have been a member of this gym for over a year and have NEVER had any issues until recently. The customer service that Joe provides is VERY POOR. She is VERY RUDE. My 1st encounter with her was about a week or so ago give or take a day. I brought a guest with me which isn't uncommon. I have 4 different friends that have come with me several times. One at a time of course but non the less we start our gym session with tanning, red light and or message chairs. Then we proceed to the work out floor. THIS HAS BEEN OUR ROUTINE FOR OVER A YEAR AND HAS NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE BEFORE. Until about a week or so ago. When I arrived Joe was behind the counter. After scanning in with MY membership amd scanning my guest in we asked to go tanning. We were shut down INSTANTLY and told no we couldn't tan. We'll incould however my guest couldn't. When i asked why Joe responded with "REALLY?" because it's the rules guests can not access the black card room at all for any reason. I asked when this became a rule and tried to explain that ive been coming for OVER A YEAR with guests and we have both been allowed to tan and utalize the black card room with no such restrictions she proceeded to say well it's not my fault that other employees don't dont their job properly. She then asked if I knew who it was that had helped me amd my guests previously. After tell her descriptions of the people she then said " ya theybare new hires it's no surprise that they don't follow the rules or don't know how to do their job correctly. Yes she isn't right it's not her fault however she didn't need to have a rude condescending tone and certainly didn't need to put down the new team members like that. A simply I apologize for any misunderstanding in the past however the our policy/rules state that guests aren't allowed to utilize the black card room would have been just fine. After that I didntcome back for about a week I think. Continue on next review. Too many characters.Pg1 of 2

Not bad place, fairly clean. Need to fix equipment. Out of six Stairmasters, three have been broken lately. Need to fix what they have and add more ...that would be 👍 one Stairmaster has been broken for at least 9 months. Actually correction one more broke so only two are working. Reported it to staff recently, they said these machines are fixed all the time, but break down a few days later. Therefore the equipment is essentially defective and needs to be replaced. That would be responsibility of the owner and not the manager to replace.

I really like it here. All ages, all sizes, no judgment. As an older woman I was nervous about going but its been very nice for me.

So far this is one of my favorite Planet fitnesses options. The staff is friendly and very helpful with any questions I have. With lots of options for machinery and free weights.

Even when I come at peak time, there are enough options available. Tristan the trainer offers challenging session that are versatile and the time seems to fly by. The cleaning stations for the most part are stocked.

PF= 2022 state-of-the-art with loads of flat screens with loads of channels.Plus, PF has basic common courtesy guideline for cell phone use, i.e., they don't allow members to use their phone on the gym floor.

I moved out of state about year ago and tried to cancel but couldn’t because I needed to do at my home gym where I started my membership. They said the only way to cancel was to write a letter to my home gym. I wrote a letter and still have been charged for the last year. I went to another gym and called my home gym and was told to write another gym. You can upgrade from every gym but can’t downgrade. I can tell all the employees think the rule isn’t right and feel terrible for having to tell people it all the time.

Yesterday I met Reina, trainer for the first time. She is cool, out of sight, vibrant, overabundance with spunk, fun and enjoyable. I met with her on the design your own program and even did the 360 workout abit. Though that I have spinal issues and weight issues, I am so determined and exercising with Reina. I can't wait to be in her class. I only go to the gym for the use of the treadmill and recumbent bicycle and their classes, LFP, could attest for that for 10 months. I am so blessed for Renew Active through UnitedHealth Care medical insurance providing gym memberships.
