Life Time Commerce in Michigan offers a luxurious gym experience with a wide range of amenities, including top-notch fitness classes, a relaxing sauna, a lap pool, and an inviting café. Families particularly love the kids' programs, which include activities like rock climbing and learning Spanish. The gym stands out for its pristine facilities and helpful staff, making it a preferred choice for those seeking a comprehensive fitness and wellness solution.

However, despite the many positives, some members have noted issues. The gym's customer service has been a concern, with reports of rude staff and inconsistent policies. Additionally, the facility often becomes overcrowded, and the presence of unsupervised teens detracts from the experience. The high membership cost and strict cancellation policies have also been points of criticism.

Very disappointed in the cafe. Ordered food, waited 45 minutes, asked what was going on, they forgot to make it. I watched two employees take a break and return to work while waiting. I would have thought my continued glares at the staff would have gotten their attention, but it did not. And to top it off, when I told the staff member I'd been waiting so long, I didn't even get offered a refund, or some other item for my very valuable time. I work 6.5 days per week, throwing time out on my only, half, day off is not fun.I've already joined another gym, and was visiting lifetime for the last time. Sure leaves a sour taste in my mouth, and will definitely remind me, along with the shortages of towels in various areas, that there are much better clubs for around the same price.

It's no logical reason the basketball court is closed at 1pm on a Saturday. They are charging damn near $100 a month and please don't blame staffing or Covid they have 5 ppl folding towels multiple others standing around with a building at about 2% capacity.

More of a daycare center than a gym. Two basketball courts but one is always closed for daycare from the morning to late in the evening around 7ish PM. The one court that’s opened is filled with kids so good luck getting a hoops workout in. It’s a really nice facility, you just have to wonder if it’s because of COVID that it can’t function the way it was designed to (like other lifetime fitnesses that have similar layouts/amenities) or other reasons.

It’s a good club in general, but some issues slip through. They weren’t diligent about asking people to wear masks, which caused stress where I should have been relaxing. The turn over on masseuses is high. And at one pint all of the women had to leave the dressing room/steam room/showers so that one man could come in to measure something - couldn’t they find a female mechanic in 2021??It would be nice if they included more variety of classes like barre, ashtanga yoga, or prenatal yoga, and a second outdoor cycling time.Apart from that, lifetime seems to be good almost anywhere.

Great facilities but two things. 1.Teenagers have made this a hangout and congregate in areas that they shouldn’t. I am trying to workout not walk by a group of teens playing truth or dare! 2. The showers and lockers are full of used towels making it seem a lot dirtier than it is. The management here seems unclear if this is a professional establishment for working out or the neighborhood high school.

Don’t waste your money. Indoor pool is always closed and not available for kids and family. Slides are never opened. Outdoor pool is the only pool available for families even when its cold and windy outside and for limited hours (11am to 4 pm). Rock climbing only open 3days a week 3 hours a day. They make you join and pay so much joining free but cannot afford to hire lifeguard to be able to fully open. The place is so crowded and they always allow non members in and people at the front desk allow there friends and families in without even joining which makes the club very busy and always short staffed.Worse experience ever.

Absolutely overrun by children and teens, not there to workout, just in the way and to be honest they are very rude. There is no parental supervision of these kids and it doesn't seem to be a problem with the staff which is unfortunate because a lifetime membership is not cheap. Clean up your act, it really is shameful. Start throwing these people out. I know I'm going to start driving to troy where they actually care about their guests and professionalism.. even though it's an extra 20 min drive, I know I can't be the only one that feels this way.

I would like to thank Kelsey Rich (now Pool) for introducing me to the club with a walk through, providing ongoing information and support regarding the club. She was extremely polite, thoughtful, and professional and made the signing up process a pleasure. Thanks Kelsey, I appreciate your helpful support.

6/30/20, Life Time not fully operational. No sauna, no whirlpool, no indoor swimming. Mask wearing throughout required. Not sure if full membership fee being charged during reduced operation. LT losing its flair and appeal.

By far the best gym I have ever been to. I came here as my cousin’s guest. I was just baffled at the size of this place. I worked out, and then played basketball. They have two full court rims! This place even has an indoor water park. If I lived close by I would definitely make a membership here.
