Life Time Commerce in Michigan offers a luxurious gym experience with a wide range of amenities, including top-notch fitness classes, a relaxing sauna, a lap pool, and an inviting café. Families particularly love the kids' programs, which include activities like rock climbing and learning Spanish. The gym stands out for its pristine facilities and helpful staff, making it a preferred choice for those seeking a comprehensive fitness and wellness solution.

However, despite the many positives, some members have noted issues. The gym's customer service has been a concern, with reports of rude staff and inconsistent policies. Additionally, the facility often becomes overcrowded, and the presence of unsupervised teens detracts from the experience. The high membership cost and strict cancellation policies have also been points of criticism.

There are some fantastic things, and some things that could be improved. The classes I've taken are awesome! The instructors are AWESOME. The locker rooms are.... ok. The lockers don't always work. And they feel the need to shove advertising in your face, which gets old. But I like it there.

Greatest Gym one of the cleanest ones, all the pools are clean they also have some rests so they can take some germs out, and That’s very amazing. Overall i love the gym even the water slides they are safe and fun to ride! If you want to work you can theres lots of things to work out with. One of my favorite things is if your working out you can listen to music if you brought your phone and AirPods/headphones, and if you didn’t bring any it’s fine, cause they also have a tv that you can watch. Which is pretty cool. There’s also the wall climb thing it opens only on Saturday I think and if I’m wrong then sorry you can ask the people/employees. And you can do much more. Love it.

I've had a love-hate relationship with Lifetime for years, and I stayed because the classes are such a great deal, and they're AWESOME. But that was it. I couldn't do it anymore. The place was not well kept, the locker rooms were gross and the lockers never worked half of the time, and the equipment was outdated. The sauna was always either broken, or it was too crowded. People never wiped down the machines after their workouts. I was paying too much money per month to justify keeping my membership.

There’s something for everyone at Lifetime! My kids love the rock wall. We all love the pool. It’s a clean gym high on service.

Signing up was quick and easy. Lockerrooms and workout areas are clean especially considering how busy it usually is. Nice equipment. No complaints. Very happy I joined!

The worst club I have ever been to. The General Manager, Chris, is worse than a used car salesman and his disgusting attitude has permeated the entire staff. I can honestly say I didn't run into one staff member that cared about the customers. Take a look at all the 1 star ratings this place has. Make Lifetime Great Again!

This place is great if you commit. This place can get really expensive if you barley use it. There are swimming classes (toddler, adult, swim team etc.) And other helpful classes. There is a basket ball court and a day care for children. The locker rooms are nice too. There is also a delicious and healthy (but expensive) cafe with items for kids too.

We love Lifetime Fitness in general, but this location is terrible. The children and teens who come here are out of control and it seems like the parents don't care as either the parents are not present with the kids or if they are, they are not paying any attention to them. It's more like a teen hook-up spot and children's playscape than it is a health club where members can go and relax, workout, and be pampered.

I must say, I am disappointed by the large number of teenage kids (12-16 in particular) that are allowed to run around without following rules and/or having appropriate supervision. Just recently, management has posted signs that attempt to enforce parents/adults being with their kids - but it is enforced inconsistently at best. An example of this is the first point of contact for members - the front desk. They appear uncomfortable challenging who comes in without parents. In some cases, members of the front desk are so young themselves, they are friends with the other kids attempting to coming in without appropriate supervision. I will say this much, based on other members' feedback, and who I talk routinely when working out - this location MUST get it together before next summer. I will not experience again what I did this summer, and my assumption is my friends will not tolerate this any longer moving forward. And, by the way, Lifetime should understand that a community recreation center in a neighboring town is breaking ground that will serve as competition, giving more people who reside in that community one more option, and maybe cheaper. Just saying - now is the time to walk the walk. Hope this feedback leads to the necessary rules being enforced.

I had a family membership, but was turned off by several points already made in these reviews, including a disproportionately high amount of worn or non-functional equipment, very dirty (moldy smell and littered with towels) locker room and, worst of all, the number of disrespectful, loud and entitled teenagers who are completely unchecked by their out-of-touch parents and unapproachable to staff. This place was nice enough once upon a time, but those days are long gone now. Save your money and wait for a similar business/model to disrupt LTF while they're asleep at the wheel.
