Started training with Tim back in January around the time crunch had first opened. I had worked out at the gym before by myself and with friends before, but always seemed to lack the structure and motivation with my routines. I never really had any exact goals for working out beyond the idea of getting stronger. When I started training with Tim, one of the first things we did was decide what exactly I was looking for in my training. He took the time to get to know my likes and dislikes in the gym, and built an optimistic yet challenging program that really felt like progress was being made. He would encourage my growth and I always felt I was learning something new while working with him. Whether it be from new exercises and muscle focus to nutritional health and dieting. I can say for certain that my knowledge in the gym, as well as my confidence, has grown exponentially compared to before I started. I wouldn't be nearly as enthusiastic nor in a healthier mindset with fitness and nutrition as I am now without Tim giving me the structure and support along the way. I started at 160 lbs made it to 170 lbs of pure muscle 6 months of training together. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends and family and have high hopes for the future.

I like the gym but they totally over sold. I have been multiple times and they are always busy to the extent you cant stay warmed up. I wish I dint have to go back to planet fittness because this gym has everything I need and want. Its a shame they over sold and continue to over sell I get a text and an email daily.

extremely crowded during peak times. so crowded you can't use a machine you want unless you hover over someone. employees are nice, facility is typically clean, but no one reracks their weights. you get what you pay for here.

This gym has all the equipment you need. You can definitely get the job done. The cleanliness is eh. The equipment and open floor area is not so dirty. The locker rooms however are very gross. When I was a member at planet fitness, it was always clean. Here at crunch, there’s always water on the floor, piss by the urinals, and other kinds of stank.I am also kinda salty right now. I tried to cancel my account (August 15). I’ve already paid for this month. However, they told me that they have to charge me again on August 30th because I didn’t cancel my membership in a very small timeframe at the beginning of the month. This method of doing business is not right and is manipulative.Just go to planet fitness. For the same price you can get a gym that is less crowded and much cleaner.

I went in to join because I received an email about signing up for$1 and a free month. The person at the front desk told me they wasn't doing that promotion. I don't know why it wasn't expired and I just received it the day before.

I have a lot of issues with this place, but the biggest is that the locker rooms are less sanitary than the average gas station bathroom. On the worst day, I’ve encountered literal feces in the shower. But on any given day, there is trash, used razors, or old wash cloths left in the shower, broken soap dispensers ripped off the wall, hair, dirt, grime, and mystery stains (is it poop, who knows? Now I always question it).Half of the bathroom stalls either don’t shut or lock properly or are out of order. But the ones in operating order are splattered with who knows what and always dirty. The sinks are always dirty. The hand dryers have caked on grime dripping down the walls below them… how does that even happen?? People puke in the trash can. And the paper towel dispenser is always empty. One time large pieces of trash were left in the floor of the changing stall and it was there for 3 days before someone threw it away. I have seen cleaning staff once, maybe twice, in the 6 months I’ve been going to Crunch, but at FAC I would see cleaning staff in the locker rooms almost every time I went.Childcare – I have only used the childcare facility a handful of times. But every time, it seems severely understaffed. Several times, there will be an older kid (who I assume to be an employee’s kid) who appears to be “helping” which definitely does not count as staff and is hopefully not being considered as such. Last time I was in there, I counted 37 kids of all ages and could only see 1 adult. I think there were 2 but one was helping kids go to the bathroom. The last 2 times I used the childcare, I saw babies laying alone and crying in a crib or their car seat. I’ve never seen a staff member playing with the kids or holding a baby – but how could you expect them to when they’re trying to keep 20+ kids alive on their own? There are 3 TVs and several iPads. If your kids are old enough to entertain themselves, I think they’re probably fine, but I would be extremely concerned leaving a baby or toddler here.Equipment – I couldn’t even go to this gym for the first 2 months after it opened due to the crowds. Between it being the first of the year and a new facility, I expected as much. I do not mind a crowd as long as I am able to complete my workouts. I don’t mind being flexible and substituting lifts or switching the order if a machine is taken, but after several months I was never able to complete a lower body workout. For a gym this large with this much equipment, it seems that it was poor planning or cost savings driving the decisions of which equipment to put in.There are 10+ power racks and always availability, but only 2 Smith machines which are always taken. There is a wall a mile long of dumbbells, but never any 10-25 lb available. There are only 2 of every machine so you’re always having to wait. This is especially bad with any lower body machines. But there are a million treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and stairmasters. At any given time less than half of them are being used. Seems like it would have been a better use of space to have more machines than the average gym for leg press, extensions, leg curls, and other machines that are heavily utilized. I also run into machines that aren’t operating properly at almost every workout. You get a lot of amenities for the price at Crunch, but when they can’t even provide the basics, the rest doesn’t really matter.

Another broke down gym that advertises 24x7 during the week except when their staff wants to be hungover. Open at 5AM on July 5th. This is the real world get to work. Also check your voicemail it is probably full of complaints.

Very spacious. Often times VERY busy and very cluttered. Oh yeah, barely anyone re-racks their weights too. ALSO.. Beware to new members: people park illegally. In spots that aren’t parking spots, just so they don’t have to walk. This severely limits the safety in the parking lot. For 1 day they had signs up saying these illegally parked vehicles would be towed, but it looks like they gave up. The lines need to be repainted and the existing cars to park illegally should be towed, simple as that. Not much accountability here.

Good gym, has most of the equipment needed. I only ding it because the dumbbells only go to 120 lbs, they need more leg machines, and it gets ridiculously crowded in the evenings Monday-Thursday.

Canceled my account at the front desk 3 months ago and was told I was good to go. Now I’m getting emails saying they’re about to report late payments to collections. I emailed them about the mistake and was told that they have no record of me canceling and I am liable for payments.I asked why I am liable for 3 months of payments when I cancelled and I obviously hadn’t been since then. They said it is my responsibility to keep paperwork of the cancellation not theirs and even if I didn’t use their space I’m required to pay.Worst experience I’ve ever had.
