24 Hour Fitness in Fort Collins offers a wide range of gym equipment, including weights, cardio machines, and additional amenities like a pool, sauna, and basketball court. The staff receives mixed reviews, with some members praising them for their friendliness and professionalism, while others have had negative interactions. Cleanliness and maintenance are major concerns, as many customers report the gym being dirty and equipment often out of order.

Additionally, while the gym is not open 24 hours as its name suggests—a significant drawback for many—membership prices are relatively affordable. However, billing issues and the hassle involved in canceling memberships have also been common complaints. Overall, it offers a variety of fitness options but falls short in several key areas.

  • Convenient location in Fort Collins
  • Offers diverse classes
  • Friendly and helpful staff as per many reviews

  • Some members find gym etiquette to be top-notch
  • Continuous improvements in management
  • Positive environment and helpful for workout motivation

  • Not open 24 hours as advertised
  • Frequent maintenance and cleanliness issues
  • Major billing and cancellation complaints

NO wifi internet which is kinda odd to me that a large gym like 24 wouldn't have wifi for its gym members. The place is very crowded, and fee's increase annually. Overall an okay gym, lots of equipment and nice staff.

We are new to the area and my partner jumped into a membership here.. I signed up for a "3" day pass but only was allowed to go once.. Not only did i wake up early to go there when it's 10° outside but was disappointed when i was asked to pay $20 for a pass.. I dont think they deserve my money so i went to miramont. Now i feel bad for my partner :) learn customer service!

Well I never had a truly bad experience until now and it was with their store. Bought something on sale expecting it was marked correctly, it was not. Came in the next day to see it correctly marked, spoke with the manager about it and wouldn't be issued a credit since I tried the product already. I just wanted the money back that they over charged me since their products were obviously improperly marked.

Dirtiest gym I've ever been to. I don't know what the employees do around here beside chat. The vents are caked with dust so who knows what diseases there could be out of plain sight. The showers and locker room are disgusting and if you look close enough at any part of the gym your sure to find dust and other crap. They always put notes up saying repairs are about to happen but I feel like they only fix whats absolutely neccesary. Once again the take away is that this place is filthy.

I would put 2 stars based on cleanliness, equipment and rate. The bathrooms and showers do not appear to be cleaned thoroughly and their 'family restroom' is never cleaned or if it is they just take a mop over it and that seems to be the extent. I found that using that restroom is popular among the guys and even the fitness employees, which is usually left with piss or a giant mess when they are finished. The equipment seems touchy or broken sometimes. No one wipes down after use or even acknowledges you are there to actually workout if you are waiting for a machine; they are too busy chatting about their personal lives. Nothing is enforced when it comes to usage or cleanliness of the equipment. The rate was pry the best only because it is a 24 hour facility. I was a member for a few years and the cleanliness got worse, the equipment was never updated or they were always 'waiting for the part' and a bunch of 'bros' workout there.

For a basic price, it gets the job done. Compared to the biggest competitor gym in town, 24 has far more space and equipment and preferable hours. I was a member of the competitor for long enough to be frustrated by paying double what membership is at 24 and getting little in return other than a smelly, extremely overcrowded gym that rarely upgraded its facilities but didn't mind regularly upping its rates. 24 isn't fancy but they have everything you need.*** Update: After using the facility a bit longer I need to add: the facility consistently smells like old sweat and a$$. I feel like I am swimming in other people's sweat every time I am in there. Ventilation system needs some serious work. Don't know how the employees can stand it.

Like this gym. But be ready.. it's very and very busy. Especially 5pm-7pm and mornings. Prices are ok, but only if you will sign yearly membership, otherwise its kind of expensive. But, I like the size of the gym, they have pool and sauna also. Basketball court. And big nice changing room.

Typical meat market gym and they make it a real hassle to cancel your membership. Cheap, but there are nicer gyms in Fort Collins for just a little more.

I've been a member here for 6 years. I've also been a member at rhino gym, anytime fitness, pulse, raintree, miramont north and south. So flat out i know what im talking about as apposed to these b.s. comments on here. Yes its crowded during peak times but unlike other gyms in town 99 percent of people will let you work in with them if you ask, the gym etiquette here is top notch from its members. Flat out...its clean. Its not your guest bathroom at your house dont expect to eat off the floor. The machines are not outdated by any means im not sure where people get that idea from but i have a feeling the can't name more than one equipment manufacturer so in other words they dont know jack about the subject. The staff is and always has been extremely friendly to me and as a big giant overly tattood mean looking "meat head" that says wonders about their friendliness end of story. Personal training is expensive? youtube a damn workout and educate yourselves, those trainers have student loans to pay off and need to make a living as well, dont be stupid. Too many meatheads?.. its a gym for christs sake. Where else would meatheads be? Thats like complaining that there are too many cowboys and the sundance, dont like it, buy a bowflex, but you'll probably complain that the bowflex is outdated and not being cleaned well lol! It smells?... duh! There are a hundred sweating people in a room...its a gym! I'd give it 5 stars but the toilets are autoflushing and whenever you lean forward to wipe it flushes on you, that literally is the only downside to the gym. Cheers!

They say you get what you pay for, and this holds true with 24-Hour Fitness. I've been going here for a year and a half. Over all, I've been satisfied with the experience. Membership is cheaper than most of the other gyms in town. The staff are generally friendly. Personal training is pricey, so I haven't utilized that service. The equipment selection is actually pretty good, especially for weight training. There are many different types of weights and machines available. The music is not too loud and the atmosphere is pretty laid back. I've read people complaining that there are too many "meat heads." Well, there are certainly some big dudes lifting heavy, but most of them are just doing their routine and not making a show out of it.I will admit the place is looking run down and dingy. The men's locker room isn't exactly sparkling fresh, but it's not gross either. Some of the cardio equipment is pretty worn, but I have seen a guy fixing and maintaining the equipment on several occasions. Broken equipment is usually fixed within a couple days.I go to the gym between noon and one pm, when it's much less crowded. There are still quite a few people, but nothing like the evening. I made the mistake of trying to go after work at 5pm only once. I couldn't even find an empty locker and had to walk back out to my car to change. The place was totally packed. I had to wait several times for a bench or machine. Now I only go during lunch, or not at all. I've heard it's not quite as crowded in the summer months, but I'm still afraid to try it in the evening.I have not tried to cancel my membership, so I can't speak to that process.Bottom line: This is not a "nice" gym. It's just an okay, very basic gym, but affordable.
