Genesis Health Clubs - Miramont South

Since high school, I’ve been a fan of workout classes over an actual gym. This is the first gym since I’ve get comfortable in doing my own thing out in the gym. Everyone is so friendly, everything is always clean, there are constantly workers walking around restocking or picking up. There is such a variety of different workouts here! I look forward to being apart of this gym for years to come!

Equipment and machines are awesome the CrossFit/basketball room are fantastic and the trainers seem to be pretty solid. However, this gym has one of the worst pool scheduling systems out there. Now that the season is winding down and the outdoor pool becomes more and more inaccessible the indoor pool is where most swimmers have to go. Usually this is fine, however, there are so many classes going on that it is almost impossible to get in at a decent time whether you reserve a lane or not. Reserved lanes are not marked and some classes don’t even appear on the website.To Genesis at Miramont South:Please:1. Make a weekly spreadsheet schedule that shows available times for walk in swim and reservations rather than your current inaccurate online list.2. FIX THE POOL HEATERS.3. Mark lanes when they’re reserved to stop confusion and reduce lane usage in 2-4 person swim classes from the current 2 or 3 to just one and allow lane reservations during these times.

I have been a member of Genesis Miramont South since August '20 and use the club facilities multiple times a week, primarily for tennis.So far, I can honestly say that this has been one of my best experiences of gym membership; from signing up, pricing structures, communication, sales/membership team, tennis programs, fitness programs, equipment, locker rooms, cleanliness...I can't speak highly enough of the folks that run this place. The girls and guys that greet you at the front desk, the trainers, the tennis pros, the maintenance team, you all deserve a huge shout out for providing a warm, friendly, safe and conducive environment to exercise in.Special mention goes to my personal trainer Marla who from the very beginning impressed me with her knowledge, coaching style, patience and being flexible with her program to meet my goals. She's one of the best and I could not recommend her more highly.To my tennis coach Andy who I have been working with since I joined. In a short space of time, I have seen marked improvements in the areas of my game that needed it. He's taken the foundation built by other professionals in the past and coached me on ways to put them all together. It's a process but I am definitely seeing huge benefits and improvement overall with every hitting session.To the other tennis pros, Pat, Martin, Brian - I have enjoyed every single drill that you run and gained so much from them. Also to Cynthia, Laurel and Linda who run the tennis program and in house leagues. You have created a truly great tennis club feel that is becoming rarer and rarer in gym configurations like these.Thanks to the entire team for making my first few months a pleasant experience.

I’ve been coming here a long time and I have always been satisfied. The exercise floor is great and stocked with every machine you could need. It can get crowded, but luckily there are multiple sets of machines to work with. The amenities are great, locker rooms are always cleaned and well stocked. The steam room and sauna are great. The hot tub is large and enjoyable. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool suits lap swimming well, while family fun can be had outside. The spa services seem nice, although I’ve never tried them. There’s also a small “cafe” with food and drinks that serves the pool as well as a small dining area. The staff are extremely friendly. They always make sure to say hello and goodbye. It’s well worth the price.

If you enjoy hearing the person next to you breath then this is the gym for you! It's so quiet and feels like an old people community not a gym. If the vibes changed it would be a great gym.

Just started going here but I found it was very misleading online to sign up for a week pass to try out the gym but in reality they won't let you til you sign up for a membership. I signed up for a month to month but idk if I'll even like …

We are very lucky to have Amber! She is an excellent instructor. I take her Pilates Class as well as Body Pump. She makes it a point to know her class by name and give individual instruction where needed in the Pilates class.She takes the time to plan an interesting & challenging workout for each Pilates class. I highly recommend her.

I have been a member of this club for 20+ years and right now have paused my membership. This is mainly due to the lax enforcement of the Larimer County health rules concerning Covid. I had to tell Mgmt twice about Miramont trainers who were not wearing masks properly and allowing clients to use adjacent machines. The last time I was there other employees were exhibiting the same lax mask behavior and many customers do the same w/o any Miramont oversight. No one seems to care and I would be very cautious about going here if you are concerned about Covid.

My experience at this facility has been exceptional. The Genesis south team is always kind, professional, and diligent in keeping the facility spotless. As a healthcare professional, I truly appreciated their COVID precautions. Working with Molly for our membership was seamless; furthermore, she is personable and her care for members is genuine.
