Genesis Health Clubs - Miramont South

Genesis has been so amazing to our family! We have been members on two separate occasions and love it! We recently had to cancel as we are moving out of town and we are so sad to go! Molly was amazing in helping with our last minute cancellation and took great care of us!

Genesis Health Club stole my money! They took out a membership fee for the month of April 2020 and I will receive absolutely nothing in return. They're clubs are shutdown and I cannot use them. THEY STOLE MY MONEY! They didnt notify me that they would take out my money they just did it. When I contacted them and tried to get my money back and cancel my membership they told me that they had to take out membership fees just so they can pay there employees. They stole money from customers just so they can pay their staff. I will 100% cancel my membership once I'm able. I also notified local authorities about them stealing from their customers. I hope more people cancel their memberships and Genesis faces some type of legal ramifications. Absolutely horrible people!

Every location I’ve been to has been clean and well kept. Each employee is very kind and professional and I feel comfortable there. Definitely the best gym I’ve ever been a member of and it is well worth it.

This gym had everything I was looking for in a gym, and more. The facilities, locker rooms and machines were all in pristine condition. The staff and members were helpful, kind and considerate.Bonuses for me:1. The water in the pools and steam rooms isn’t chlorinated.2. There are indoor and outdoor pools!3. There is a cafe in the gym for post work out caffeine. :)All good things!

Overall Genesis is a great place to work out! The staff is super friendly and the members are considerate. The equipment is well kept and the classes are a lot of fun! The only thing I would change is the music! They play only 80's rock, which doesn't necessarily get me excited about breaking a sweat, but every once and a while a good jam will come on!

The fitness staff and variety of classes and times is great due to the ability to go to any of their area gyms. I have not had much interaction with the mgmt so I cannot speak to others experiences. The only thing that keeps me from rating five stars is that the pool could be a little bit cleaner.

Sarah is an amazing massage therapist! Whether it's 15 min or 30, she focuses completely on you and your needs - every massage with her leaves you feeling listened to and feeling better in every way! Thanks for a GREAT experience every time!

Just wanna share my experience so nobody make the same mistake that I made which was trusting the management of this place , I was here to start a free trial , talked to savannah she told me that if I didn’t like the place o wasn’t happy …

Arrogant and short sighted bad business practices!------------------We have been members for over 20 years when they started as The Tennis Club, became the Gym, then Miramont and Now Genesis. Now their membership department provides a poor level of customer service.In December we needed to change our membership from a family with tennis to a single with tennis. We were told that we could not do that simple change over the phone or online someone had to come into membership to do that, so my wife went in and signed a form.Six weeks later I noticed we were still getting charged the same amount on our credit card so I called and was told that I should come in and they would check it out. I was playing that night so I came in and was then told that the person there couldn't do anything it and I'd have to come back AGAIN and talk to someone IN membership - I refused and then miraculously after my tennis match the woman at desk said she had a form and I didnt need to come back.I understand minor screw-ups like this Im certainly not perfect. What showed really bad customer service is that I called membership again to double check they had made the change because I saw a charge in February I told them that I didnt think they should have charged us for Jan and Feb since my wife had come in in December. What is was told is "well we cant find anything". They didnt apologize, they didnt offer to refund the $50-60 extra we had paid .. basically they were implying that my wife lied and she never came in!

I wish that I can post something less than one start but I suppose this will do.alth club in Fort Collins (Oak Ridge location) and was very optimistic about making a change for the better. she spoke with a manager, was given the sales treatment and offered a free trial period in which enrollment would renew afterwards. She came home that night and after discussion she chose to cancel. she has been put through the ringer and and upsold and ignored until the membership started and money started coming out of our account. we had to stop any future payments through our bank due to this. she has emails and correspondence back and forth with the manager requesting canceling prior to the membership period begining, finally we get ahold of someone and are told because the membership began we now have to pay a cancellation fee of almost $200 this is ridiculous. Their lack of customer care is going to put us back almost $300 and we have not touched even 1 piece of their equipment. There is no record of this company with the better business bureau. Upon further research, we are not the only ones according to Google reviews that have had this happen to them. I am hoping that you can prevent this from happening to anyone else. We feel that they are a scam.
