Great gym, just dont like how you cant properly work in the circle cause people are just sitting on the equipment and talking to their trainer instead of actually working out and switching off. It really defeats the purpose of the timer.

Extremely dirty, tons of machines do not work, nobody was cleaning before covid... still nobody is cleaning now they are open again. Worst gym i have ever been to in my life.

Why are the water fountains off? Not like we arnt touching all the free weights already, is a water fountain really gonna make a difference? Also it feels like they never turn on the AC or I'm just a sweaty mfr. Otherwise it's a nice place.

If you like a prison workout with NO air conditioning in the summer, you'll love this place. When asked about it on a Friday, "our maintenance guy is coming on Monday". When asked about the AC on a Monday, "our Maintenance guy is coming on Friday". Ashlan location is only one w A/C.And.... they call to solicit you at 9:45pm. Then, if you go to the main website to Contact, none of the links work. Another “Blast” probably out of business in a year.

So i hear that the gym is open but nobody picks up the phone. Very upsetting especially when you need to put membership on hold during Covid. So you can't pick up the phone but you dont forgot to take a payment. Poor communication on your part.

I tried this facility when I was trying to choose a gym. I wanted to like it because it was conveniently close. I got a good workout but I was grossed out that you couldn't clean machines because the cleaning supplies were out at almost every area. The music was not conducive to exercise and there was a room that felt like a forgotten basement but the worst was the smell. Granted a gym may smell like sweat but this was overwhelming.

There are much better gyms out there so spend your money elsewhere. The bathrooms have mold, grunge, grime, and dirt. The equipment isn’t much better. If you can find a machine that isn’t broken in some way it more than likely hasn’t been cleaned in a week or two. Locating spray and towels to clean the equipment is a chore in itself. There’s no need to find the sauna because the whole place is a sauna with their subpar air conditioning system. On a positive note the staff was friendly.

Had to cancel a membership that I hadn't used in years. I recently had an accidentally which definitely put working out on the back burner. The staff at 1st and Herndon in Fresno was awesome! They were very courteous and took care of my cancellation request immediately... no hassles. After I recover and if I decide to go back to a gym it would be Fit Republic.

My wife and I where on a trip to Yosemite and we're staying in Fresno to sleepover. When we arrived we were searching for a place to do a workout. When we went to Fit Republic we got a very nice welcome. Very nice employees who even offered us a free pass for the day. They showed us around the gym and made sure we were comfortable being there. Top service! Also the gym is clean, very big and people are as you would expect in a gym. Minding their own business. When we come to Fresno we will definitely go to Fit Republic again!!

Worst gym I have ever been to. There was a bee hive in the ceiling above the indoor courts. The showers are a health hazard. Staff is nice, but the whole place is deplorable.
