This gym has all the essentials for a great workout. The staff is nice and supportive and there's variety of equipment to choose from. 4/5

Having just moved from the tiny town of Greenville Tx I really expected more from this Frisco planet fitness location. Definitely a downgrade in terms of equipment/weights. The abduction/addiction machines max at only 100 lbs and as a 5’2 130 lb I can certainly say if I max at 140 lbs these machines need some weights added. They also Only have these weird cheap looking pads instead of regular yoga mats to stretch on. Knowing Frisco and the amount of money they put into everything else I really feel like this location needs some major upgrades.** Update **Weight was added and machines were swapped out last week, much happier with this gym now. Also the front desk workers have been welcoming and attentive!

Maybe some good hygiene practices would be nice! Literally a “Dollar Tree” next door yet NONE of the staff members bother disinfecting the toilets or buying quality toilet paper that doesn’t easily tear. It’s so disgusting! I refuse to sit down and utilize the mens restroom - I’d rather leave the gym go home or stop somewhere that actually prides themselves in cleaning. If I had to compare it to anything mens restrooms looks more like a truck stop. Only 1 stall available because the other 1 is broken. It doesn’t take much to call somebody out to fix a toilet. Gym membership + annual fee. It’s gotta go to something here! Smh!

This place is decent, however a tad lazy. No communication at all on any social media be it text, twitter, FB on closing/openings due to weather conditions. You look at other gyms and they were open a day earlier after the inclement weather conditions, my gripe is that they don't take that x-tra step and effort to keep the gym open like the other fitness clubs around. You call them to see if they are open no voice mail or automatic greeting to say what's the latest status, I think you can certainly improve in this area around communication and stepping up a bit.

*Update 6/16/22* - New staff who are more friendly & CONSISTENT use of the a/c, at long last! Be prepared for this summer though, lots of teenagers & college kids posing (nothing new there, just gotta kick them off equipment they seem to think is ergonomic seating specifically for texting) & now people are bringing their rather young kids so it’s starting to look like daycare in there.*UPDATE* If you just want to work out, it's not too bad (when it's not busy, otherwise there's too many posers & people just sitting around on equipment). 3 stars seems fitting since the price is reasonable & it's relatively clean. *Staff is nicer now, but where's the a/c??! If it's nearly 80 outside, it shouldn't be the same temp inside, seriously. Where's the management? Please fix the a/c situation, this place isn't hot yoga, last I checked.

Second time trying to cancel my account and second time I've been told I couldn't without delay. If the manager succeeds tomorrow I'll gladly remove the review as the place seems clean and functional for what it is, but this company's policies for cancelation are absolutely a scam. I cannot recommend any planet fitness, let alone one that can't help me do something this basic.Seems to be a common complaint. I strongly discourage anyone from signing with PF.

Rome at the Frisco location is amazing!!! Thank you for your time and attention. Some people don't realize what a smile and actually listening does for someone. I appreciate you. Keep up the great job, energy and positivity!!!

I’ve always struggled with going to the gym being a “big dude” with lots of fat and minimal muscle. I only joined Planet Fitness because it was the cheapest option, but I’m so glad that I did. The front desk staff always say “hey!” and the gyms is very well kept. Thank you, PFit for making my healthy choices easier!

I have been a member here off and on since they opened this Planet Fitness. They always had spray bottles to clean all the equipment down, but were rarely used by others. Post Covid is a different story. Cleaning is done more frequently by both patrons as well as workers on a regular basis.

I used to love planet Fitness Frisco. I’ve been going there for the last 5 years lost 60 pounds. I hate frisco’s planet fitness now. I’m changing my five star to with one star rating IF YOU AREN’T OVER 5’3” DON’T BOTHER WITH FRISCO’s PLANET FITNESS the machines will not fit you.It feels like they discriminate against shorter people. I am 5 foot most of the machines are not made for people my size. our arms and legs are too short. I have to use Their chair from the front to stand on to get on the AB machine. Then when I get on The Ad machine someone else has to help me pull the bar down because my arms are too short. So I have to bother the person next to me to ask. I have a friend who is 4‘2” adult and he cannot reach the new machines either. As you can imagine he can use only a few machines. I have to wonder if the owner is tall. the machines are for the tall people only. I look forward to seeing a discrimination lawsuit thrown at PF from your costumers. I tried emailing the owner. no response. I waited a month and sent the same email out again saying it was the second try. Nothing back. I talked to the general manager when she was there. she just looked at me I had nothing to say except. Sorry. with a shrug. I used to love frisco planet Fitness . The last manager Chelsea was fantastic. Since she left there’s no regular people there is a new person every time I go.so here I am on the review page I changed my review from a year ago from five star to a one star.
