Great gym, went at 1 am and everything was on and fully functioning

This location is fraudulent. I signed up online and agreed to pay one monthly charge. While a member, they were charging me multiple times a month. When I called they said it was because my card declined and there were fees. When I called my bank, they said it was never declined and all the charges have posted. I finally got fed up with them and cancelled my membership. With a now cancelled membership, I just got charged AGAIN! When I called EOS they told me that it shows my membership is cancelled and they do not know why I was charged. I have had to call my bank over ten times due to their unauthorized charges. I have now had to get my bank involved and flagged EOS Gilbert as fraud. It is absolutely mind blowing to me how they continue to charge me with a cancelled membership but “do not know why”. Do not get a membership here. Planet fitness is more professional, they are not fraudulent, and when you sign an agreement they actually uphold it. Planet fitness is where you need to be getting a membership. Not this fraudulent location with employees who say they don’t know why they are STEALING your money. Oh and look at the below reviews and see how I’m not the only one they are STEALING FROM!!!!!

I got the black membership in the middle of May. That gives me access to any location and lots of other perks for like $28/month. They offer cheaper memberships as well. I have gone every single day since I started, except for 3 days I was sick in early June. I LOVE THIS PLACE. They have literally everything, open 24 hours a day, amazing classes from yoga and water aerobics to bodypump, high fitness, and more. The amenities, like massage chairs of all kinds, sauna, pool, hot tub, guidance, and more, are INCREDIBLE. I’ve gone to 5 locations so far, all within 5 miles, and I’ve had a great experience at all of them. There is a lot for any fitness level from beginner to body builder, so if you’re looking for a gym you’ve found the best place. Eos for life!

EOS makes it easy to take your money but very hard to cancel. You can sign up for a gym membership online, but you can't cancel online (makes no sense) They require to you go in to your home gym in person to cancel in writing, even though they could put the same form online and allow you to cancel the same way you signed up. My work situation changed so I was traveling extensively I didn't have time to go in. Called, the person who answered said a manager would call me. 2 weeks goes by no one calls. I call again this time the person on the phone says they understand, they'll take care of it. nope. shows up on my bill. I call again about the CC charges, no one calls, so I dispute the charges, Now i got their attention, finally someone calls me about my account being past due - i let him know the back story. He apologizes, says he understands the situation, and he'll take care of it. They reissued the charges to my card. The recurring charges were ended but they still want the money for the 4 months between when I originally canceled and dispute resolution. ANY vendor that can take your signup online can allow you to cancel it online as well. Don't sign up unless you want a lifelong membership. they make it difficult to cancel and want to force you in to hear a sales pitch regardless of your situation.

If I could give this gym 0 stars I would. While the gym itself is nice and I enjoyed going there, they are a SCAM. They have been taking extra funds out of my account and when I have tried to speak with any member of management regarding this, somehow they are always busy. So if you’re looking to get your money stolen relentlessly, go ahead and become a member here. If not, look elsewhere so you don’t go broke.

Beautiful gym. Great selection of equipment. Lots of room too which is not something that could be said about all the EOS locations. My only critique is, nobody greeted me when I walked in, definitely didn't expect a personal hello but I walked in with a group of people and she didn't say hi to any of us, which I'm not used to when it comes to eos, and this wasn't by any means the cleanest gym I've ever been in. Location, size, variety, locker room design, pool all on point though and I will be back. When it comes to staffing I definitely understand that it will vary from day to day, I'm definitely not trying to complain, this was just my honest experience. Thank you 😊

This EoS gym is setup exactly like another location I liked in Glendale. It has actual Stair masters, stretching equipment, and new full body massage chairs. It then adds an interesting holder for the massage controller and opaque windows for the swimming pool area. This allows swimmers some privacy, unlike most other locations. My only gripe is the scan to enter the recovery room. It makes no sense to have it, since you have to scan your card to use the massage chairs anyway. The room should just be unlocked.
