I have been going to this gym for years and last Friday someone stole an excessive amount of cash from my gym bag, (which was in a locker with the lock on.) I only get “we’llLook into it” and staff seems not to care. Normally I do not carry such a large amount they just got lucky, but the lack of empathy and compassion is frustrating.

Member since 2015. I thought that I wanted to find another gym that was open 24 hours. Joined EOS…. For one visit. Chaos…is how describe that place. MSF…I have never had a complaint at ANY of your locations. Always clean, great employees, plenty of equipment & clientele with class (mostly). You are my home, MSF.

Great gym with lots of equipment to use. Only downside is there has been a lot of theft in the locker rooms. My wife got her keys taken out from her locker went outside and uncooked my wife’s car. Took everything from her car. If you go to this gym make sure you take a lock to secure your belongings. Staff didn’t reach out to us like they said they would also.

A personal outside the gym situation arises and was handled extremely unprofessional by staff. A staff member of Mountainside fitness was allowed a personal matter to get involved within the club during the work hours of the Mountainside staff. The Mountainside fitness staff member/sales associate harassed myself and another member when children were involved. After discussing this with Mountainside management they decided to allow the staff member to continue forward harassing and they then canceled how are memberships. This was all done by their lead supervisor Mario who stated he didn’t care about the situation or he didn’t care that the staff member was harassing people. Mario was also extremely disrespectful and rude on the phone when canceling the membership stating he didn’t care about two members that have been there for over eight years since he had other members that were going to pay the bills. True lack of professionalism at a peak level. This is what Mountainside fitness allows from their management and their staff.

I liked going to this gym until I tried to cancel my membership and boy what a nightmare that has been! First of all you have to be in person or send a certified letter to the corporate office. I sent a certified letter to the corporate office two weeks before I was to be charged for the next month. UPS said it was delivered before the first of the month. I was charged anyways. I disputed the charge and blocked Mountainside fitness from further charging me. Mountainside continued to harass me via emails phone calls and text messages for months about not being able to charge my account even though it should have been canceled! I asked them several times to quit calling me and they would not stop. I insisted I sent in my letter in time and explained I would not be paying for the month I should not have been charged for. They changed the name of their biller so they could get around the block my bank put on Mountainside Fitness. These people are crazy. It seems I am not the only person they have many complaints on YELP and the BBB website about this specific thing.

I am beyond saddened and appalled on how the Mountainside Staff and management treat their members. After discussing with several levels of management an incident which included a paid and clocked in member of their staff harassing members, myself and my boyfriend, while working out… they have since told us that the employee will be spoken to and have cancelled our memberships. Would not recommend Mountainside Fitness because of this. Please steer clear of any sales associates working at Gilbert, Queen Creek, or Cadence locations.

Gym is great however this is a warning about canceling any sort of training at this location. Back in October I cancelled my husbands weekly training sessions. The person I worked with was trying to freeze my account and I let them know I only wanted to cancel the sessions. He had me sign something electronically (no paperwork for me to take with) and told me the cancellation was taken care of. Feb 1st they charged my account for training sessions despite all the hassle months ago and are now fighting refunding the money which is disappointing. If you decide that you do want to cancel, I suggest you get that in writing so you don’t have to deal with the headache.

The great environment and knowledgeable training staff at MSF made me a gym person for the first time in my life. The training manager Katy Rees is friendly, professional, and a great addition to the staff. She coordinates well with the trainers and ensures all members are satisfied with their sessions. She's always around to answer any member questions and handle any concerns. I appreciate everything her and the trainers do - will keep me and my family coming back to MSF.

I love this gym. The daycare is great! The gym is clean! The classes are fun and motivating! I am a member of the stretch fit program and absolutely love it! It's nice after a week of working out! I would highly recommend giving it a try, your body will thank you 😊 …

I’ve been coming here for several years. I love it. The kids club is great. I love that it has cameras. I love that the towel service is included. There is a large amount of free weights and functional fitness and a great area for stretching. It’s generally clean and the staff are nice.I became even more of a fan when the owner publicly pushed back against closing gyms related to COVID - at that moment I decided I’d NEVER get terminate my membership. I have a lot of respect for standing up for what you believe in.
