I have been at this gym for 11 months now and I have to say it's been both a positive and negative experience in every way. Customer service is straight-up terrible, every time you want to ask a question about something on the phone they purposely put you on hold for 10-25 mins so that you just hang up your call, I know this is true because one time they forgot to put me on hold and you can hear in the background the same person who took my call, talking and not giving a #### until he realized that he forgot to put me on hold and many more instances where they don't answer back.Equipment has been on a serious decline lately. Up to the first 5 months I've been there any equipment that got damaged was usually fixed within days if not it would take max 1 week, nowadays it takes them at least 2 weeks to fix one thing so you can tell they're going backward than forwards. It is safe to say they have been too focused on making money that they forgot what they stand for and what their roles are.Overall despite all of these problems and many more I still like the gym, it's small but has a good environment and good people. So, in the end, it's up to the customer whether or not they want to join this gym but I suggest they look somewhere else or if they don't care about these problems then yeah maybe not a bad gym to join.

Very unprofessional staff including the manager himself, (The question chart that they have and make you answer Is for a middle-aged divorced woman who just want to get started and lose weight) just FYI, I've been working out for years and my physic looks better than all their trainers combined. They were just trying to sell and sell, I went there at 12:00 p.m. and it was impossible to find an open machine I cannot imagine How is it going to look like around 4:00 to 6:00pm. this gym should respect its members and stop adding more

I’ve been a member since the gym opened. Since then, it’s become a much younger crowd…like lots of 15-16 year olds working out in packs. There are a lot of things that could be done to make the gym better, starting with a PA system to remind members to stack there weights and not spend so much time sitting at a machine looking at their phones causing others to wait unnecessarily. Fitness machines (maybe not the best term) are often out of commission for way too long. I’ve been working out for most of my life so I can always substitute one exercise for another, but really shouldn’t have to if members understood basic gym etiquette and this Gold’s did a better job of repairing their equipment. Parking is horrendous if you’re entering the parking structure in your car. I ride a motorcycle. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be a member. With that said, the staff are friendly and for the little I pay, it’s worth it. I would also advise Management to open up the private workout rooms and class area when not in use And to have someone with someone with an outgoing personality and a sense of authority walking around and reminding everyone, but particularly the younger members to treat the gym with respect. I’ve seen this a couple of times and it’s effective. Come on SoCal-Glendale Gold’s…you can do it!

Had to move back East after my fiancée kicked me out of our apartment in July… I’ve called each month since to cancel my membership but keep getting charged. Customer service is very rude and the managers are always “busy”. No one has even said they were sorry that my fiancée kicked me out of my apartment.

I really like this facility but I’m upset that they aren’t putting out towels and cleaner any more for everyone to grab. I know that probably sounds a bit annoying but taking those away means people aren’t going to clean the equipment as much after they use it. Because the cleaners are either too far away or there aren’t enough. People are only going to do stuff if it’s easy and if you make it harder for them to clean stuff, they aren’t going to do it. I saw a lot of people just put back equipment without cleaning it after using it.

Friendly staff, great equipment, and clean/sanitary. Some ppl gave a one-star rating because the gym gets crowded. It’s located inside a giant mall...so yes, it can get crowded at 5pm, just like any other gym.

Great gym! There's rarely a long wait for machines or weights, they have hydro massage chairs for pre/post workout relaxing, & their bathrooms/showers are spacious & very clean. My favorite classes are Latin Cardio taught by Alfredo, PowerSculp, Body Attack, & Les Mills Sprint.Parking is free (but difficult on weekends), so I recommend going during the week.

Staff lacks empathy. Wish I could give 0 stars. Nobody social distances or cleans machines and everyone's running around coughing all over everything. This place is a joke I lost my job and my car was totalled which resulted in me not being able to come in and work out or even pay the bill and now they are putting my account into collections even though they charged me for three months of service that I wasn't even present for. Currently trying to find a home for my family to move into and this will mess up my credit. Then they wanna say that I could sign up for another 6 months service then after 6 months it'll go off collections but how am I gonna come in to pay that without a job or a car and have my kids with me. Truly a horrible place.

**Steam/Sauna review only**Please, please, please!!! Put a very Large sign that says no clothing or shoes in the steam/Sauna and to SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING!!! People go in with clothes and shoes on after working out. Pretty gross. 🤮 the small paper sign that was put on the door is not cutting it.You tell me how you showered before going in and you have shoes and/or a shirt on?People wear their underwear in there too, which is fine if you shower first!!! It leaves lint all over the inside.Wouldn’t hurt to have staff regularly check?

Way to overcrowded, lat pulldown machine and chest press machine have been broken for months, steam room is always closed, smelly lockers, and theres only 6 benches accompanied by 20 of different types of cardio machines. Theres also only 2 actual pullup bars with no gimicks and no grips that poke out. A normal gym would have at least 3 different machines side by side for one muscle group, but this gym has no variety when it comes to their machines. Go to 24 hour fitness instead
