Such an unfortunate experience. I paid 20 for a DAY pass and no one at the front who took my money told me that the gym would be closing in 1 hour. I asked if I could get my day pass extended to a different day and the assistant manager said that she wouldn’t be able to do so, as that wasn’t in “her power”. They beg for memberships and then lose business as my day pass cost as much as a monthly membership. I won’t be going back and my boyfriend will be cancelling his membership. LA Fitness here we come!

This is by far the worst gym I've ever been to. Instead of focusing on fitness and customer service, they try to scheme their way into your bank account and fish for money. Multiple machines are broken as well, so if you love having a pump then you're not going to get It here waiting on the one machine that works. Also the steam room does not work and they will not let you work out in the personal training room which is the only room that has kettle bells. TERRIBLE GYM if you're serious about training I recommend you look elsewhere 👎

Glendale Golds Gym was good in the beginning, now everything is breaking down. Cables equip near boxing bags need CPR, the glute machine is broken. Seems all equipment with "cables" need attention. I've decided to use 24 hour Fitness which is just a couple blocks away.

Not worth it, it's just an inconvenience all around. Machine's are broken, with no sign or indication when they will be fixed, sanitizing stations are always empty or out of order. Equipment is mediocre, with padding so stiff your likely to develop rashes/blisters, weekend warrior's eager to shuffle weights around leave them behind like 5 year old kids leaving toys out. Weights don't seem to get put back by anyone or even staff members. It gets overcrowded even at hours that aren't supposed to be busy, Same people at the same weight area, doing the same workouts hogging the same machines everyday, don't skip leg day bro 🤣

This gym has some of the best customer service of all gyms in Greater Los Angeles area!!! But my sole reason for this posted review is to give a big shot out and thank you to Tito M. Not to take away from any of the gym staff at Gold's Gym Glendale. But if you do decide to get a membership at this location request to work with Tito M. This man is very perfessional, knowledgeable, kind and has a great sense of humor, everything you can ask for when is comes to customers service. Thanks so Tito M!!!! You were awesome in assisting me with all the questions I had. Also shots go out to Danny Medina who also dose memberships at this location, and the wonderful front desk staff. They are all so kind and welcoming when you first walk in. Thanks you guys for always making me feel at home when coming in. And again thanks Danny for your help with my membership. My hopes anyone looking to get a membership here reads this and receives the same service I did when going to this location. Also that their supervisors come across my review and recognize these employees for all they offer every person walking in the doors.

The gym is nice mostly brand new equipment. The free weight area gets extremely busy which isn't unusual for a gym but here it feels particularly packed for some reason. The dumbbells get hogged pretty frequently so be aware of that.

For the price point it’s a great gym. Yes, machines need maintenance sometimes, peak hours are crowded, there are gaggles of teens hanging out/swarming machines … but overall it’s clean, friendly and has most everything you need at a super affordable price. Do miss that they took away all towel service. You want a white glove or concierge experience, join Equinox. If you’re from back east, it’s like a middle point gym somewhere between Crunch and Blink. Gets the job done.

I love this gym! Great classes. Clean. Love the Mountain View’s from the treadmills and the skylight in the center of the gym floods the gym with natural light. I have made many new friends with members and instructors there. Keep up the good work!

It's an ok place to get a workout in but I'm extremely disappointed in services. The steam room hasn't worked in the 2 weeks I've gone to this gym, and more before then. Every day members are told in another few days. The usual lie/excuse was given, "it has to do with some other store having plumbing problems. What I find to be most distasteful, is they DO NOT provide towels. They sell cheap face, hand and bath towels. By the way, they've been out of big towels for sale. Locker rooms are much too small and permanent lockers are provided at the ridiculous amount of $100.00 a month. I'm extremely disappointed in this location. The staff could be a lot more professional and courteous.

I personally think the management for golds gym is horrible. The reason being is that I went to sign up for a free small trial that I had seen from a friend and when we went to the desk to fill all of the paperwork out one of the workers told me that they ran out of free trials. He said this while a bunch of free trial posters were posted everywhere including on the very desk that we were conversations on. I ended up paying not much heed in the moment and paid for an enrollment as he said that I could get a refund within a week if I wanted. I went to the gym once within that whole week and came back on the final day to ask for a refund as the employee said I could. I went to an employee and talked to them about a refund. He went to his higher ups in management and then came back to me saying I’d get a refund with 14-23 days. I thought it was odd, but I just went along with my days. Fast forward 20ish days later and I still didn’t get a refund. I went to call the gym and they said they couldn’t do anything for me and to go and call financial services. I called financial services and they informed me that not only am I not getting a refund I’m also still member of the gym, so I almost ended up paying another monthly fee. The lady who helped me was kind, but informed me there wasn’t much she could do. She ended up cancelling my membership in order to not pay another fee. I ended up not pressing further as I had other events going on in my life, but I just wanted to inform other potential trials of this gym that they really shouldn’t trust the management here
