Shady membership options and over priced. Dont go for the bs sales pitch. I look forward to the day that LA or Planet Fitness come to Wax. I wanted to pay for a year all at once. They refuse to make any deductions and kept pushing me to do the auto monthly payments/contract.

Go there 3 times a week to keep my blood pumping. Pretty nice place to go. Wide range of equipment and usually in good order. Kept clean and well lit.

I am a current member at Gold's Gym, Waxahachie. Apparently the staff has informed me that I don't have access to their jump ropes because I'm not a class member. It's a nylon rope, but that's more important to them than their customers.

Horrible service. Opened an account then broke my foot. General Manager Ian took my medical note and assured me I wouldn't be charged for 3 months while healing. I was charged days there after. Member services has answered my calls SEVEN times now and no call back from management. Just tried again. No answer again. Canceling me and my sons membership.

Need more class options and child care times. Does not seem like all staff is trained well. No training on equipment, just let you go at. Usually clean. Staff especially child care need first aid and CPR training. They did everything wrong when my son got hurt. Except to come get me. They do have a variety of things and I love the movie theater treadmill room.

Do NOT sign a membership here unless you plan on NEVER canceling...because when you cancel you still will be charged for an additional month!!!! ( inwhich you will be unable to use their facilities due to your cancellation.) Now explain to me that business logic???? I will never sign up with them again.

Worst experience ever!! Fraudulently charge your account. Don’t make the mistake of leaving your credit card information on file with them. If you sign up for a three month membership, they keep charging your account after the three months is up.I paid three hundred dollars for a trainer who was rude and would not meet when agreed to.

Horrible membership and customer service. I had to cancel my membership in person, and I am still being charged 3 months later. I was not under the year long contract you are forced into when you first sign up. I keep getting the run around and the general manager is never available. I was asked if I had my carbon copy of my cancellation agreement and to send it to them. There seems to never be anyone in charge who can answer my questions, call me back, or respond to my email. From reading other reviews it sounds like I am not the only one this has happened to. I am not the type to spend the time writing reviews, positive or negative, but what Gold's Gym Waxahachie is doing is just wrong.

My son has a Membership and is new to weightlifting and wanted me to go and show him the proper way to lift. He asked the other day if I could come in and just show him how to properly lift and proper techniques. Today we go in and all seems good to go until Lauren comes over to the counter and states if I'm not considering joining it would be $16 to accompany my son even though I'm not working out. Well, if I ever decide to go back to working out at a gym it wouldn't be there as I would go to 24 Fitness or Lifetime Fitness.
