I have been (until yesterday) a member of Lifetime Fitness in Colleyville, since pre-construction (19 years). I loved the gym and was willing to pay a premium for it. I originally was told my rate would be "grandfathered" in as dues increased. That remained true for about 5-7 years, until they started making yearly $1-2/per month increases. Then last year they hit everyone with a $10/month increase. I complained to no avail like everyone else I knew. Then 4 months later in February, I signed my daughter up for the LT swim team. Then in May I realized I was paying more than I should have been. I asked them and was told that because I added my daughter, that triggered an automatic review by corporate, which triggered an algorithm to automatically raise my rate by $20 per month! I complained of course and the increase was reversed at that time but no refund given. It should be noted that they increased my dues and charged a higher amount to my credit card without any notification at all to me. They usually notify any dues increases by email. Now in September of this year (2022) I was again notified that monthly dues would increase by $20 per month. That would be a 37 percent increase over one year in time. I complained to the manager, Jeff, again, and was told that corporate was "catching me up" to everyone else's rate. So much for loyalty and being grandfathered in. I would not recommend Lifetime anymore, as they are a greedy corporation who no longer cares about the clients, but just the bottom line. Beware their shady business practices and be prepared to get your dues raised regularly, if you join!

No other gym comes close to the quality of Lifetime. It's basically a country club without the golf course. Extremely friendly customer service that always goes above and beyond. Educated and experienced trainers that truly know their business. Amazing masseuse, nice spa. And once you become a regular, going to the gym is basically like going to hang out with friends. I'll be a lifetime Lifetime member.

This gym is the best. Their service is a 10/10, they have a great amount of parking and a perfect facility overall. It’s what a Life Time should be. It’s clean. So much to do and they keep doing improvements on top of it. The check in receptionists are always smiling and there’s always someone willing to help. I have forgotten my ring and multiple items a number of times in the locker and they have never been stolen - the staff will store it in a safe until you want it back. All of the staff is great. The steam room is the best - although it could be a little hotter. Also, never noticed it before but there’s only one basketball court and one pickleball court, no soccer or an extra available court. This is the only downside.

Very nice location. However it sometimes smells poor and needs a better scent. The trainers are absolutely wonderful here! But it seems that Lifetime as a corporation does not value their trainers. They need to pay them better and create a better work environment for them to retain staff. The 3 stars is for corporate.

Great facility, offers lots of opportunities. Cafe staff are very friendly. I know there are other gyms less expensive but you get what you pay for and that generally means crowded, less clean bathrooms and fewer options or amenities. I'm happy so far and have a confidence I'll remain here. I reccomend it if you are the sort to pay more for nicer things.

Very nice facility. Immaculately clean and updated/renovated. I was happy to see that they have a hack squat machine, and a variety of other unique machines that aren’t at other LT locations. Definitely a step up from the downtown Dallas location. The morning hours were a bit busy, but there’s plenty of room for everyone!

Being told to wear a mask while working out is ignorant. Our bodies need 2x the oxygen intake when we work out with masks on. Did the American colonies comply with the British Redcoats?

Highly overrated and overpriced. The commission structures provide incentives for predatory personal trainers. Constant fees and upselling are the core culture. All surrounding city rec centers now have very similar facilities, much better prices and friendlier environments.

I love lifetime. Nice to see the mask mandate is removed. My first time at this one. It's a nice gym, but not the typical onyx quality. That part was disappointing.

Update: I cant stress how much I hate this place I could write a book about it. We know you see these reviews yet you stay silent like cowards hiding behind a screenThey sent me a magazine I never asked for and told me if I dont want to receive it I can opt out and not be charged. Although I was never charged this is sneaky and takes advantage of the fact that they have your billing info. I already pay $200+ monthly but it ain't enough for you leeches is it?
