I came to Indianapolis for 2 months so I joined this Planet Fitness which was near to the place I was staying.The day was leaving Indiana I went there to cancel the membership. When I signed up for it they did not have the bag they give it when you sign up so they told collect it later. The day was leaving Indiana I went there to cancel the membership. When I asked for the bag one white women working there said(in a rudely manner) that, "you already cancel the membership why would we give you the bag now, you should have collect it before cancelling it." smh. Would avoid giving business to such kinf of facility who cry for the bag.

Beware of other Members!!! I have been a member here for 3 months my girlfriends North Face jacket got stolen, I have had other members ask if i have seen items they left in the locker room i.e jackets, shaker bottles. There was a car out in the parking lot at 4 in the afternoon that had gotten its window smashed in and stuff taken. Dont know how much help the staff is when it comes to getting stuff back, we are in the works to see if we got the girl that stole the jacket.

The 86th Street Planet Fitness has a great staff and is set up with great equipment.You can walk in and go right to working out. I usually work out an hour, and that's all I need to do. Even crowded, I can get this done.I have the rest of the day for the stuff I need to do

A great place to get into or maintain your health. Staff friendly, helpful.The place is ALWAYS clean and ready to workout. We are enjoying our membership 100%. Plan to continue indefinitely. I would recommend Planet Fitness to all.

Great staff!!! I can’t say enough good about them. However, many outdated machines (no hammer strength?!). After traveling recently, I went to two other PF’s. Much more variety for weight training. If they update their selection then 5 stars. Again, the staff is superior and all are nice with great attitudes!

I've been to PFs all over the country and this one is the worst for the 30 minute workout area. Employees are nice, but the 30 minute workout area is not respected by members, and staff don't seem to be trained on how to address. It is definitely not a no intimidation area. Hope that gets addressed as staff are all very nice and helpful.

I love this place! The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is clean. There are always machines to use that seem to be new and don’t make any squeaky annoying noises. You can tan and use the massage beds without appointments. Great place to workout!

I’d say, it’s an ok place. A bit better in comparison against other gyms that I know. It’s clean, and true there is no place for judgement here, so you can be your self and focus on your exercise. The equipments are well maintained, the music choices and the volume were just right, the bathrooms were relatively clean and not smelly. There is no instructors that would go around to provide guidance and help. The front desk staffs can be very friendly but also can be very mechanical, especially the male manager that I had the opportunity to deal with. They have inflexible rules like you have to provide a bank account instead of using credit card.

Overall, I think it's a good gym. If this is the most convenient place for you to go, then you won't be too disappointed.There's two of most of the weight machines, and I notice the staff cleaning them fairly often. There's so many cardio machines that I can't imagine them ever all being taken, even at the busiest of times. There's four straight bar racks and six or eight benches by the free weight rack. The ab/stretching area is kind of small, but there's enough space to accommodate several people at a time. My only real complaint with these things is that the paper towel rolls and spray bottles run out pretty often. It would be nice if the staff restocked them a little more often.I have a few specific complaints having to do with the locker room. It often seems that at least one of the showers in the men's locker room is out of order. Considering that the locker room has only three showers, this can be a significant problem during busy times of day. In fact, there was a span of a few weeks where two showers were out of order. This made it basically impossible to take a shower here in the morning.There was one day where there was quite a lot of blood on the bench and the floor just outside the showers. When we told the staff about this, they put a Wet Floor sign there instead of cleaning it up. I'm not sure if they didn't have the resources at the time to clean it up, or if they simply didn't feel like cleaning it up at the time. I worked out for a couple hours and returned to the locker room, and still nothing had changed. It was clean by the next morning, but I'm not sure why they weren't able to clean it up from the beginning.Finally, it seems to me like they don't clean the showers super often. They always seem to be rather dirty. I noticed some of them had the exact same dirt marks and hair in them for weeks at a time. As long as you have slides or some kind of shoe to wear in the shower, it's not a big deal, but it's a little unpleasant at times.The staff is generally very friendly, though a couple of the desk workers seem like they don't care a whole lot about their job. Generally, though, very friendly.Overall, it's a decent enough gym. Not nearly as nice as the other Planet Fitness facilities I've been to, but it's not bad.

I like this location its quite the time of night I like to go good personal large space. Good showers but some of the doors need repair they don't close properly and the first one needs a new nozzle, also this is only location I've been to that doesn't have any changing booths or rooms but is still very clean and well kept. This is a great location but not quite my favorite
