24 Hour Fitness in Indio, CA, is a large gym that offers a variety of workout equipment, classes, and amenities. The facility includes a sauna, steam room, and swimming pool, which many members find beneficial for varied workout routines. Despite its name, the gym does not operate 24 hours a day, which has led to significant customer dissatisfaction. The gym is noted for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and well-maintained equipment, making it a popular choice among its members.
However, issues with broken equipment, fluctuating operational hours, and a sometimes cumbersome check-in process have detracted from the experience. Additionally, the gym can get crowded during peak hours, and the air conditioning system has been unreliable, particularly in the humid or rainy seasons. Customer service at times has been reported as unhelpful, especially concerning operational hour adjustments and maintenance needs.

They’re charging the same price for less hours of access to the gym. Ownership/management needs to figure it out

It’s the only gym in The Valley besides PF, but the girls and guys share a sauna and last time an old man was spitting in there 🤢 also it’s always packed regardless of the time you go …

Called and said I would like a trainer today and they said they can fit me at 1pm; then I said I want the special they have for 270.00 for 5 sessions. Then it was well we have to get you on a schedule and not today.

This would get 5 stars easy if they actually stayed open 24 hrs. 24 is a great gym but I miss late night gym sessions

Go back to 24 hours!!! You’re literally forcing more people in there by reducing the hours. So you mean to tell me COVID is only contagious from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.? What’s the point? I’m canceling!!! even planet fitness and eos are open 24 hours

We at paying for 24 hours but are only getting 16 hours of operation. I feel like we are getting cheated. Other 24 hour fitness gyms are operating the full 24 hours. I like everything else about the gym.

I have been going to this gym for the past 7+ years and the last 2+ years I have been going multiple times per week. This gym has not been upgraded since I first walked in about 10 years ago. Multiple 24HR locations within 100 miles have either been renovated multiple times or new locations have been opened up.Meanwhile the manager keeps sending out emails asking for "new members" when a) this gym is already full on the weekdays and b) you haven't done ANYTHING to improve this gym.During the pandemic they didn't even bother moving their equipment outside and just closed. Meanwhile EOS Fitness on Washington Street was spending 50K/month to keep their equipment outside during the pandemic. This place just screams cheap and is falling apart. I won't even get into the bathrooms and faucets that don't even allow you to properly wash your hands.Just recently they reduced their hours. Now they have M-F open until 10PM, Friday until 9PM and Saturday/Sunday only open until 8PM.Masks are no longer required and every other gym in the area is open until at least midnight. What exactly are you paying for here? This club manager wants new members yet neither he nor corporate has done anything to improve this gym.Last year 24HR exited bankruptcy - after owing over 1.2B dollars - during which they laid off workers over Zoom and closed over one hundred locations.Yet they are not upgrading their gyms, adding any value to their memberships and increasing their prices. This is 100% greed and zero commitment to their members while you are being asked to keep paying your membership dues.Do not give money to this gym until they completely renovate this location and check out EOS Fitness or the various other gyms in the area for a much better experience.

Went to check in with ID and was asked if I started my membership in Burbank. I said yes and was told I was ok. Got back to pool area and the hot tub was not working. Very bad as I am rehabbing my hip and arm from a resent accident. There is really no reason for the hot tub being down and also, my home gym is 24 hours.

Looks like an old school 70s gym that’s been barely picked up. Weights are supposed to be silver yet handles are black leaving hands dirty. 24 Hour should simply be 24 fitness cause this place is not 24 hours at the end of the day. Front desk staff sound like they are annoyed & miserable. I would think anyone working at a fitness center would be more energetic & happy not upset that anyone would show up to the gym 30 minutes prior to “ closing time “ “supposed to be 24 hours as it says in the name. At the end of the day if a paying member shows up during operating hours; it doesn’t make sense to say “ I will let you in this time “ grow up , do your job , be glad anyone is coming in bringing business into the place so everyone can keep their job at this location. Simple. No drama necessary. I hope their day gets better as taking it out on members is not professional.
