Overall I'm happy that it's open again. No appointment required but you need the 24go app to sign in and agree you have no symptoms. The gym is clean but can get crowded since reservations are gone. Plenty of spray bottles to keep handles clean. Lockers and showers are open, but the pool is closed. There were no employees on the floor. I saw a few guys working out with masks under their chin, and a few on the cardio machines breathing heavy without masks. I wish they would enforce the mask rule. I also wish they would encourage hand-washing, but the sinks in the locker room only stay on 2 seconds after you put your hands in. It doesn't feel as safe as it should be, and could get shut down if they ignore the unmasked.

This location is the only one within 50 miles of Joshua Tree. It is worth the drive. I do not know the area, but it is off of 10, in a town called Indio. Very clean, nice and welcoming staff and great equipment. Bathrooms are clean. Many weight benches are available and great free weights. Smaller swimming pool but nice. Parking is great and plenty of it. Nice little shop with gloves, bags and other merchandise. They have auto pay for when you want to purchase items.

I've been to a few other 24 hour fitness centers and this is one of my favorite ones.
