Onslow Fitness

I joined Onslow Gym so that I would be able to continue my training when I am visiting my son and his family. My home address is NJ. I have been quite impressed with the family type atmosphere of the gym. The gym is clean. The women's locker room is immaculate. Everyone is just so friendly and helpful. However, I was absolutely blown away with the professionalism, knowledge and give-a-care attitude of my fitness trainer, Nicole! Top of the line AWESOME!!.I will always use Onslow Gym when I am in the Jacksonville area!Sincerely,Lynne Lindenthal

I cannot say enough about this establishment. Onslow fitness and their staff have helped me in my health and fitness journey. Corey is a dedicated trainer, who always makes team training fun and challenging. The staff at the front desk are always professional and down to earth people: Brenda and Scott. I have tried out a few gyms locally and beyond, but this is the best one yet. If you are looking to reach serious fitness goals, you may want to consider adding on teams and small group training to your membership. The people here are the reason I come back though.

Execellent Health Club !!! Equipment is in perfect condition with a good variety of machines and free weights. Salt water pool, steam room and dry sauna, are wonderful.The club is kept very clean. A friendly staff that is knowlegeable and upbeat makes each time I work out a positive experience.

Just like many others have said, it is a good place to work out and even better because of childcare, although it should be cleaner. On many occasions I could not even use their facility because my kids were frequently sick after bringing them there. The staff is friendly but of course they are there for you to show support and encouragement as long as you pay them. Our 12 month contract ended during the closures of COVID-19. Prior to the closures we went in to cancel our membership. The lady whom we spoke to said we could pay off the rest of the contract or let it run out, turn in our key cards, and that would that. We had a month or 2 left so we decided to let it run out. After the gyms opened up again we tried to return the key cards. They said they don’t do that anymore and we could discard ourselves but we need to give a written 30 day notice (as their policy states) to an email. Which we then did. But of course they still charge us.To make it worse I was told by management that the CEO Was possibly the one who gave us the initial info. Does this sound right to you? Why give inaccurate information or even hide information? Where is the customer service and support that is promised by this business? A friendly reminder of policies is always appreciated by customers especially when someone is clearly trying to cancel their membership.Although we as customers sign their papers, how is this situation okay? It is very disappointing that employees of a business will disregard the voice of their “customers” while they continue to give Misinformation and try to hide it from their customers.So again, like many it’s a good gym. And like the other side, I feel almost taken advantage of or even lied to. They could not even get their policy straight amongst each other because it changes when they decide.I hope this review helps others to just be aware of the details. This facility puts a bad name to local businesses In promising customer service, individualized service, and better support as compared to larger companies/ chains.

Onslow Fitness is an amazing gym. The gym is very clean and the staff is caring and personable. They are willing to go above and beyond to help you and make you feel at home. The fitness classes are so much fun and have helped me feel so much better and healthier. 5 out of 5 stars!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The community here are friendly and helpful. The trainers here are better managed and are a notch up from most. I recommend talking to the fitness director who will get you, probably the best evaluation you can get and recommend the right trainer to make real improvements and obtain your goals.Equipment is modern and kept up to excellent condition. The best value is in the classes as all the teachers are talented and provide unique exercise experiences. The therapeutic salt pool is, steam sauna and dry sauna work are maintained, kept clean and are great for alleviating aches and pains. Get a membership here and use it and you will get healthier. Like most fitness studios in this area, the membership fees are nonrefundable.

Staff is outstanding!!! Pool & sauna area leave me feeling like a new person. Thank you for the new clock and blow dryers in the women's locker room!

I enrolled for an annual 12 month set up with them and had only went to work out the first two weeks of the first month I paid for. I informed them that I wanted to cancel because I’m moving and I still have to pay another $60 for all of next month on top of another $13 for cancelling ! I can’t believe I really have to pay for a month that I’m not even going to be there for ! Will never return and DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE ANNUAL CONTRACT IT’S A SCAM !!!

This place feels like home. There is no judgement. Everyone is there to help you reach your goals. They are upfront about all costs, have an amazing group fitness schedule and instructors, childcare is included in the membership price too. Everytime I walk in I’m greeted with a smile. I will always recommend Onslow Fitness hands down
