Everything is generally ok. Trainers at the second floor of the fitness are kind and helpful. BUT some of the staff at the front are rude. Sometimes they put you on hold for more than 10 minutes to answer a simple question. Even under a family account, they require each family member to bring their cards. If you don't, they are very rude about it and give you a hard time entering the gym. I understand that IDs are required to identify members but if we are all under the same account, you can just click on our names after scanning one of our cards. There's no need to be rude or make us wait forever just because you feel like clicking on a few other names is too much trouble. Besides that, I have no other complaints.

Gym is beautiful. Only reason I would give any stars. Staff is rude. Customer service is not an option here. They lie to get you to join, then the smiles go away and your nothing but a commission. I can do without frat boy attitude from the front desk. Equipment is always taken, too many kids running around just hanging out. It's not a real gym, it's a social gathering for folks who want to pretend they work out. And don't even try canceling. They make it almost impossible, and you'll owe hundreds of dollars.

At first I really loved this gym despite how much we pay. But this last month I have nothing good to say. I passed out twice in this gym last month and not one person has called to see how I'm doing or when I'll be able to work out again. They just keep taking my money. Now the aquatics is under new manage so they have changed my daughter's swim class which is now more money I'm throwing away. And the final straw was today when I was told that despite the fact that it's cold and windy outside, I couldn't swim inside with my child. I got the number for corporate and I will be calling after the holiday. Such a waste of money!Update: Called corporate and they were less than helpful. I sent an email to the suppose to be Assistant Manager of Aquatics over a week ago and have not heard back from her.I also have still not been up to working out, and I'm so disappointed that I let my self fall for what Jeff was saying about being supported in my weight loss goals :( and signed up for a gym that my husband and I can barely afford.

All the trainers I've worked with have been fantastic! Group Fitness classes also have great instructors! Definitely recommend this gym! I've personally seen David Gunn GM cleaning the cardio equipment upstairs. He's been very nice when I've had issues to discuss with him. I feel it's worth the money.

Looks good from the outside, the tour goes well, so you sign up despite being 3 times more expensive than everyone else. As you work out you realize the few machines you actually do need are NEVER available. No matter what time of day you go. The way men talk about women in common areas of the gym embarrassed me. No respect at all. There is a nice pool but now, unlike before, always full of kids and/or classes. This gym is a bait and switch! You see all the things you need but don't realize you'll never get the chance to use them. Now to my actual problem. They say "no contract". However, try to cancel...I dare you! It's a trap. Nobody answers emails about cancelations( or even temporary account holds). I've called 8-10 times to ask for help while I'm temporarily deployed. They WILL transfer you to a empty voice mail box that nobody ever answers.DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. You will start out happy then find yourself trapped.I risk my life to earn a living for my wife and kids. Not to have it stolen away while I'm down range. My wife's pissed. I can do nothing from where I am.Don't make the mistake I did. Join a regular gym

I've been a member for one month. I agree with all the previous comment about the LACK of cleanliness in the showers. Black mold is all over the ceilings and I told a worker but it has still not been cleaned. Maybe now this public post will bring some action.I enjoy the classes and the fitness equipment, but Lifetime Fitness lacks security. The staff is mediocre at best and overall I think 3/5 is a fair rating.

Horrible customer service, horrible management . However the gym is clean, and the equipment is up to date and the gym has a lot nice features. The Duluth location has the worst customer service. The Johns creek location is the better option, great service and nice atmosphere. 1 of many of our bad experiences. ( we went to the Duluth location on July 3, 2016. The pool hours for kids end at 6 on Sunday. But they had a special holiday hours on their website that Says " pool closes at 7, it's been extended 1 hour for the holiday weekend. When we arrive at the 5:30 there was a sign up front that said pool hours extended by 1 hour for the holiday weekend. After 30 minutes the pool closes at 6. We ask the life guard about the extended hours " he said " we see the sign out front but they don't pay us enough to stay out here for 1 extra hour" . We called the front desk from the pool, the manger " Autum" said they have no jurisdiction over aquatics so the pool has to close. She apologized that it was on the website and she said she didn't know who put the sign up front. Thats what I mean be horrible management and horrible service.

The most horrible experience ever!* The first few month I joined they were going through a renovation. Everything was shut down for 1-2 weeks.* Child care sucks - My child was bullied by and scratched by another child and they didnt do anything about it* Basketball courts were close and rock climbing was closed for a month.* They have very few evening group sessions which are always full.* Pool is a big drama - Half of the time the outside pool is closed - When its warm the outside pool is closed. When its cold the inside pool is closed! Ridiculous rules for Family time! They take 20 minute break every 45 minutes which is another absolute waste of time for kids.* Bathrooms are never clean and towels are dirty!* Pool is dirty and never cleaned.* Staff is absolutely rude - NICOLE is the absolute horrible person on staff! She is always standing out with her bright pink lipstick with a fake smile!!Seriously you guys need to do something about such a nice facility!!!

I just joined the gym over a month and its really an upscale gym with lots of classes to meet your fitness goal( Yoga, kick boxing studio cycle etc). So far the staff has been friendly, but I just need to get in the gym bust some sweat not sure why all the negative review for rudeness. So far the steam room, sauna, and showers and bathroom always been clean.

Like many have already said.... I expect more for my money.Customer service is less than one star.. minus sales people.I usually go at night--- past 11 PM and usually leave around 1:30-2:00 AM.- The women's shower area smell like dead fish have been laying around for weeks. I saw the same hairball in the same place on the side of the shower for 3 days in a row. Two people complained about the foul odor and an employee came with an air freshener and sprayed down the entire locker room.- I am RARELY greeted in or out of the gym.- The machines are extremely dirty. The treadmills seem like they haven't been cleaned since the gym opened.- Many times, the towels are stacked so high.. both upstairs and downstairs... and all associated are gathered around the front desk chatting away.- I got lifetime bucks when I first registered. I signed up to use some of it with a personal trainer. She never followed up with me. Told me the wrong name and time. Took my lifetime bucks and I still have not heard from her nor received my session.- The pool and hot tubs are even nastier than the showers. There are some interesting things growing around the pools where the water filters out... I don't think they've cleaned that since the gym opened either. The pros of Lifetime is that it's 24/7 and has sauna, hot tub, showers, and so many different machines. I just wish maintenance and customer service was better.
