Updated 2018, still 1 star. This location is upping people’s membership to $75/month starting November. Their reasoning is to make it better with renovation. We have had lockers broken into, cars broken into, and people carrying guns into the building. Police are here almost every other night because of some issue. I was originally signed up at this club for a 24 hour gym, $65, to go to this club only. Now, they close at midnight and are charging people more money. When it gets close to midnight, they hide all the towels in the locker rooms so people won’t stay and just leave. There have been plenty of times where we have to go to the front desk to ask. The sauna works when it wants to. I only come here because I’m so close to it. But it might be time to go somewhere else. It’s not safe here.

This gym is not worth over $60 a month, but the only reason I go here is that my friends go here. I’ve been a member for a little over a year now, and there were many problems with the changing room & the shower areas. Thankfully, they renovated the women’s locker room, so I don’t see any molds on the shower heads anymore. Some of the yoga/ exercise mats smell bad; I wonder if they ever wipe the mats.

Always a good gym session when I come here! Towels are abundant and facilities are generally clean. Lot of free classes to chose from as well! Only wish the sanitizing wipe dispensers were all changed more frequently, as some of them empty fast.

I got a charge on my account for $70 after I had cancelled my membership. (We are moving out of state and have no Lifetimes near us) When I called to ask about the charge no one was able to tell me what it was for, until finally someone told me that $70 sounded like the amount they charge for swim lessons. Well when I signed up I was promised a month of free swim lesson's for my daughter, I attempted to sign her up online and when I finished I got message that read the appt would be confirmed. I never got a confirmation so I asked someone from Aquatics at a different location and they gave me Sugarloaf Aquatics email, I emailed to ask if my lessons had been confirmed and I NEVER got an email back. At that point I just figured oh well whatever I guess my daughter was never signed up for lessons. Fast forward to today, I am told that they did in fact email back confirming the lessons. (I still do not see the email even after checking the trash bin) And apparently you have to cancel a month in advance or you would continue to get charged. But say they did email me back.... why would no one email me to ask if I was still interested in the lessons after missing a whole MONTH of lessons. Do they not keep track of the students??? So now I have paid $70 for swim lessons this month (that my daughter won't be able to attend) that they won't refund because apparently I knew what I was signing up for and had to cancel a month in advance.....Something else that is off putting about this gym (this location in particular) is that they almost NEVER answer the phone. There were several times that I have called in a single day and all I got was the answering service. The concept of this gym is great, but I would assume the customer service/service would be better considering the premium you are paying for a gym membership. I wish I could say that I would join again if I ever moved back to where they had a Lifetime, but in my short time there I have had a pretty negative experience.

This gym is a great facility I love going to this gym ! I think the rates are a little high but it keeps all the other riff raft from other gym out! Account manager perry weaks is a great employee he does his job as if he was the manager of the gym! He takes pride in his job and understand how to develop a relationship with the client! He understands that this is a customer service savvy job !

The steam room is extremely dirty and stinks like sweat and butt cheeks and there’s dead skin all over the floor , the showers are moldy . The hot sauna is not hot at all feels like the locker room and the pools are very dirty as well happy to be canceling my membership! Don’t waste a cent here ! If you want to experience a nice spa go to Jeju on pleasant hill and the gym is nice though but the bathrooms are disgusting

I go to this gym because it is literally across the street from my home. This place used to be a really great gym. The amenities are pretty good, however if I took a black light into the showers and steam room i'm sure it would be disgusting. The showers have hair all over the drains, it smells disgusting. They just recently remodeled or did some "upgrades" however everything looks the same, the showers are still just as gross with mildew growing in the corners of the showers where the glass dividers are. For the amount they charge my expectation and many others are to have clean amenities.

I was a member back in 2012 and this facility was beautiful. It felt like a higher end fitness center (imagine that). I rejoined recently because of the childcare and have been speechless ever since. I only lasted 5 months before I couldn't take it anymore. The building is disgusting, dust, dirt, finger nails, random gross things from outside that wouldnt move for weeks. The lockers are so gross too, hair and stains from who knows where. The child care is basically teenagers glued to their phones the whole time. It's not bad as long as you have older children, I suppose. The staff is unbelievably unprofessional. It is so sad how this once beautiful place has gone down hill. I bought the condition of the building to the staff and general manager and never heard back. I'm not going to apologize for having higher expectations for the rate they charge.

I would give 0 stars if this was an option! I have paid this location for over 4 years now for my entire family of four. When really my son and I were the only ones visiting the fitness center the whole time. When I terminated my gym membership they got me to sign up again by signing up myself and my wife only. Perry the agent who signed me backup assured me that my son would be able to just walk in and play basketball while I worked out without any charges everytime I visited the facility. Yes indeed when I resigned backup in January 2019 they allowed my son to walk in without any questions asked for 5 whole months.Today 5-23-2019 they had several new people at the front check-inn counter. Basically they didn't allow my son to walk in with me today. I spoke with Terry who I assume is one of the managers and explained to her the situation. She also denied for my son to walk in with me. I ended up terminating my agreement. As me and my son were walking out of their facility one of their very young team members laughingly yelled out to us "I hope you guys have a great day!" If this is how you don't want to be treated I suggest you not sign up here!Other areas of concern, I have many very expensive high end cars. Just last week I caught someone who was about to break into one of my vehicles had I not stepped out of the gym at the time that I did. When I questioned one of the members at the gym why they don't have security they replied "well we don't have as many break-ins as we use too!"

Do not ever join lifetime fitness at Sugarloaf location!!!I've joined lifetime membership three months ago w/ promising to waive the initiation fee. My sales rep was Bo Park and he told me that I have to pay initiation fee when I sign up, but I will get the initiation fee back on next month bill. Also, they had promotion where if you pay $50 upfront and you will get 100 LT bucks to spend at their location. I've also paid that because I was planning to take swimming lesson for my son. But guess what, they never gave me refund on initiation fees and 100 LT points as they promised. I've contacted Bo Park and he told me the refunds are on schedule, but it's out of his hands now that I have to talk to account manager. So, I called and talked to one of account manager there and he told me that he cannot do anything on the system that I have to talk to my sales rep. I tried to contact Bo Park so many times and he never called me back and he was never at his office whenever I went there. So, I've tried to dispute through my credit card company and they told me that lifetime denied the claim saying that it never happened. They lie and do whatever it takes for you to sign up for the membership.
