It's a gym. It has treadmills and weights. Don't know about the other reviewers saying there are no benches or free weights.... There's like 5 squat racks, with benches, and more free weights than I know what to do with.

Great staff. Plenty of equipment. Clean. All ages and abilities are made to feel right at home. If tons of free weights are your thing, there are plenty of other options. For the other 98% of us, the Kazoo PF is terrific. Highly recommend.

An utter vacuum of free/plate weights, which pretty much makes them useless to me. I understand their anti-"lunk" business model but most people who are trying to get fit need free weights, not free pizza. And most people go to the gym because they're trying to get fit.Given the absolute dearth of decent gyms in this area, I'd think they'd have a more ubiquitous facility that caters to a wider range of patrons.Open another facility, add more free weights and allocate more than just 2 45 lb plate weights to your smith machines and watch the membership soar. Who else does PF have to compete with? The YMCA?

This place is over crowded, rude staff, poorly managed, terrible tanning beds. If you are a WMU student, take the couple extra minutes to drive to the PF on westnedge. 10x better. Go there one time and you will never come back to this location. Level 4 tanning beds, clean, awesome and helpful staff... The list goes on.

Y'all need to wake up and smell the iron. Planet fitness is a joke. There were no squat racks, bench press, or barbells to do rows/deadlifts/overhead press. All that they had were smith machines. 4 of them. Not to mention the dumbbells that only went up to 60 pounds, really. Deeply unsatisfied with my experience, but what the heck its a gym.

JUDGEMENT FREE MY ASS! my girlfriend had recently cancelled her membership there on account of after paying over 2 years and rarely going (due to the uncomfortable conditions she felt in the environment) they over charged her and could not do squat about it.

It's a good enough gym so long as you know what you're getting in to. Their climate control is poor, but that's what you get for $10 a month. Their staff is nice. Their hours are hard to beat (nearly always 24-7).It's a large gym, but I'd actually say it's too small for the memberships they have. Way too small. It's hard to find a place to lift weights during peak hours and you're constantly waiting for machines. Some of the treadmills could use some servicing. Their radio station plays the same 100 songs over and over.If this gym were any more than the $10 a month I'd be quick to give it 1 or 2 stars. Since it's so cheap I use it as a secondary gym to do cardio and short resistance workouts. It's good for that. It's great for anyone just wanting to get started. The lunk alarm is ridiculous though. I've never had it go off on me, but it's incredibly annoying and often startling to every member in the gym when it goes off on someone.I feel it's pretty dangerous on a couple of fronts: Exhaling (non-excessive grunting, but maybe light grunting) is unavoidable if you're lifting and breathing properly. Trying to set down weights without making a sound at all can be dangerous (particularly any kind of dumbbell press where you have to set the weights down on your sides when you're completed. They don't have barbells and racks to set the barbell on). Also, having an alarm go off while you're running on a treadmill or holding up weight can startle a person and cause them to lose control of their motion briefly. Although it may be brief, it can definitely be long enough for a person to injure themselves. This review sounds more negative than the star rating I gave it, but again I'm basing a lot of my score on the value and convenience. I think the staff and atmosphere is overall good and most of my issues have more to do with the rules that are set in stone by the Planet Fitness Corporation rather than this specific location.

I really don't understand the negative reviews. They must come from competitors. I have been coming to the Stadium Drive club in Kalamazoo five days a week for nearly two years. The machines are well maintained and clean; so is the locker room. The monthly fee is low, and the equipment is what you would expect from a more expensive facility.\

Clean, plenty of equipment including cardio, circuit and free weights. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I travel a great deal for work and have the type of membership that allows me access to all the clubs. This one is as nice and well equipped as any in the chain.

I'm a 60+ yr old man, If your over 30 this place is not for you,Students, Rap Music, and cell phones. Yes the place is new and but not shiney. In the 4 months that PF has open there some of the places that have yet to be cleaned, Staff infections is my concerns especially in the tanners, speaking of staff they seem to be more intersted and texting and face booking than helping. Yes I joined" and since cancelled and went up the road for the same price and got a pool and Showers. I guess you'd think you get what you pay for but you really don't. I'd rather spend a few bucks and get what I want.
