I used to go to Gold’s. I was told this place had a cheaper member option so I went in. The guy was trying really hard to sell me on a black card membership but I told him I wanted the basic because I had no interest in paying the same price as I was at Gold’s. So the transaction is finished and I’m informed I’ll get a confirmation email within 48 hours, I never get it. Time for first payment to come out and almost $30 is deducted from my account. I was told the basic membership was $10/month. I call and I’m informed I signed up for the black card membership, I ask if I can get a refund because I did not choose that option, he says no but offers to change my account to the basic. Cool. So just to confirm, I go in to work out and ask the guy up front if my membership type got changed. He says no and informs me I need to speak to a manager. They’re there from 8-5, Monday-Friday. That’s my exact work schedule. I can’t go in. So I try to call the manager on a break at work and he says “Unfortunately I wasn’t here and I don’t know how the conversation went but we give customers options.” I tell him that I understand that but I told the original guy “I have no use for a black card membership, I’m not interested in classes or paying what I was paying at Gold’s. Why would I switch gyms and pay the same price for less equipment?” He repeats that he wasn’t there for the conversation and that he can change my membership type if I can “find time” to come in and it’ll cost even more money. So basically, I’ve had a membership here for a month and a half and I’m already out over $100 and I’ve received no help. I even emailed a month ago and have gotten no response. I now get to spend almost another $100 just to cancel.This place is unprofessional. Go to Gold’s or really, any other gym.

I visited this Planet Fitness last week and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, to include the locker room and restrooms. I travel a lot and visit a PF wherever I go, and this was by far the best one I've visited yet. Aside from the staff at the front desk not being particularly friendly, I have nothing but positive things to say about this location - from the layout of the equipment, to the modernized rowing machines. If I return to this area in the future, I'll definitely pay this PF another visit.

Best Gym I've Ever been a part of...ppl are very nice and if u have questions mke sure to ask someone who's been working there for more then 6 months , unfortunately I got a trainee my first day going there

So Sad To See People Turned Away For Being Bulky Or Muscular Even Though They Cant Afford Anywhere Else And Just Want To Work Out. Supposed To Be Jugement Feee But Its The Most Judgmental Place I've Ever Seen. If You Look Good You Cant Join. So Sad. People Wirk Hard To Look The Way They Do Just To Get Turned Away From The Only Place They Can Afford. Hopefully These People That Worked Hard Can Stay In Shape From Park Wirkouts Cause That's All They Have Left Thanks To This "Jugemental Free Place"

I would not recommend this place. The staff is not trained on the equipment you use. So if your new forget getting any help. I was so embrassed to have others watch me as I try to figure out what to do or how to use anything. The staff has no idea either. I cancled my membership.

Horrible customer service absolutely horrible ...staff member answered phone today I called at 6:36 pm Sunday July 22nd because I had a question about my sons membership when I called and they answered I thought I had dialed the wrong number because they barely said hi and nothing else and so I asked did I dial the wrong number ? and then they mumbled or spoke in a way that was unclear so I asked "is this planet fitness?" they said "yeah" I asked who am I speaking with? Did you say your name Is carlos? He said "no I did not say my name is carlos" i said oh ok sorry whats your name...he said "I'm Not going to give you my name" I thought what the heck because I wanted to know who was going to help me and Wow I got a response I NEVER EXPECTED he told me " it is none of your business I don't feel I need to give you my name" I said what ? You treat customers like this? He said "yeah I don't have to give you my name". He asked me who are you I told him a paying customer...he repeatedly said he did not feel he had to give his name Wow he has a REAL BAD ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS ...he is going to cause planet fitness to lose customers I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED THAT WAY...I asked for the manager he went ahead and gave me Israel's name and told me Israel would be in tomorrow he also told me Israels schedule for tomorrow...if you ask me i think this may be Israel's buddy he was very comfortable in giving me that info..I told him I have never been treated like that over the phone and I hung up on him. He sounds like disturbed or hes on something but he aint right upstairs he needs to be tested for drugs...

The staff at the Kennewick location are awful. They sit on and around the front desk. The machine cup holders have garbage or left over items in them. They don’t make sure people wipe down machines. I’m so frustrated with them.

Grest staff everyone is kind and helpful, very clean, we customers usually give a courtesy wipe down for the next guy. Never over crowded. 5 stars!

Oh my goodness i cant believe what happened!! I went to there keosk and signed up an appt for the total enhancement...i then checked in ..the guy said there was a little wait and then he will activate it for me...ok sound like he was going to watch out for me...good that was nice ...so i waited in their vip room or what ever its called.. right next to the door...and when the other person walked out i walked in ...then it went soo bad...i got undress and steped into the room ..and i couldnt turn it on ...tried as i might nothing worked...so i called the front desk..and at first they told me i didnt have an appt..what ??? ..then that they see the appt but it was expired and i have to come up front and make one..what??? Im naked!!!!... i did make one already and i followed the proper steps!! I already checked in that appt!! But they would not hear any of it...when i put back on my clothes and..went to the front desk in my bare feet to see what happened ...they started to patronize me...they brought me to the same kohls keosk and told me i need to sign up for an appt here( exactly where i did) and how to do it.(whichi alredy did).and where to check in... it was SO embarrassing ..i even pointed out the person i spoke to..nothing ..and when i talked to the manager that was sooo unapologetic said that i need to make an appt and to check in..(which i DID!!!)and i need to tell THEM when the customer ahead of me left( wasnt that was what the phone call was) i was so humiliated!!!..it was not a case of that i did not know how to use thier machines. .. I cant belive they just wanted to parade me around like that..is it becuase im over wieght??.. they want to pull me out half dressed to expose me in public..i thought this was suppose to be a safe place to work out!!! But its turning out to be the place where the staff bullies u!!!

A literal judgment-free zone. Planet Fitness has a variety of equipment to choose from, when working out. You can sign up for classes if you need help with training on a certain equipment you haven't been on before. There are also TV's, so that when you are working out, you can have some entertainment to get in the 'zone'. Overall, a friendly environment.
