Crunch Fitness - Lakeland

Started with a trainer here named caleb a few weeks ago and have gained and learned so much through his sessions. I told him I wanted to push myself and gain weight. It only does he push me to do greater he also his a great friend. Highly recommend him!

They signed me up for a partner’s membership but didn’t fill out my correct name, address, and the contract was never signed. Now when I walked in and tried to cancel the contract because it wasn’t legally obtained and Zach the general manager argued with me that my name isn’t chase go and the information in his computer is correct but the contract they have isn’t legally obtained. It doesn’t have my name address or signature however they are still charging my business $137 a month. I pleaded with him to please cancel and downgrade my membership to which he made phone calls and told me it should be refunded to my account although when my money was refunded it was only $5.00. I feel like the partnership programs are a joke and they’re borderline scamming people out of they’re money. I’ve had to seek legal advice on the matter and the only way to take it to court is to find a similar lawsuit and adding myself as another plaintiff. I’ve tried reaching out to multiple staff members and nobody is willing to help. I would never recommend crunch gym to any of my friends or family. I’m highly disappointed in they’re entire business model and they way they conduct business.

Very nice, clean. Great energy. The female sales professional I dealt with when trying to cancel was very pushy and did not listen to key goals I listed, she kept asking me over and over again what my goals were and then responded with her ideas. (Ex. I want to bulk up… her response was about weight loss)

Patrick was an amazing fit for training my 15 year old daughter who was new to the gym and weight training. He took his time starting with getting her comfortable in the gym atmosphere progressing to learning the machines, weights, strength training without losing sight of her goals. She is now comfortable and educated! Thank you Patrick!!!!

This gym is an absolute disaster. I’m not sure how it has any positive reviews. I’m guessing an employee is writing them. The gym is always overcrowded despite the time of day you go. Between 6:00pm and 7:30 there are no parking spots available. You have to drive around the building multiple times behind others cars waiting for people to leave so you can take their spot. Give yourself about 20 minutes to find parking. The weight machines are all in the middle of the floor and layed out in a chaotic manner. People are allowed to spend excessive amounts of time just sitting on machines staring at their phones and not doing anything. To be fair, I’ve looked in on the classes and they look descent.

I have been working with Pat since September 2022 and have dropped 22 pounds in the last 4 months (220 -> 198). He is very well educated in what he does and has helped me tremendously. Definitely recommend!
