I really enjoyed my membership at P.F. The price was right and the equipment was always in good order. They expanded the gym twice while i was there to keep up with the increases membership. When it was time for me to leave it was completely hassle free,

Cheap monthly rate. Equipment in excellent shape. At least 2 of every type of machine. It's not often you have to wait for one. This is a fitness center and not a gym. You can only use a Smith machine to press and ez bar weights stop at 70 lbs.

Clean facility, pleasant staff, spacious locker room and plenty of equipment. Always use this fitness center when visiting from out of state, getting a 24 hour pass for 10 bucks, which usually gets me two workouts. FYI, there is only a Smith Machine for those wanting to bench press, and I didn’t really see a good area with mats for stretching, etc. Other than that, would highly recommend!

I have enjoyed my membership at Planet Fitness these past few years (just need to go more often!) Facility is clean and the machines all work fine. The staff could do a better job of making sure that everyone wipes down the machines when they are finished (maybe more signs?) And a few times when I've been there on a Saturday or Sunday evening, the staff will turn off the fans 30-45 minutes before closing which makes it impossible to finish my workout (too hot!) So I'm forced to leave.

Overall I like this gym and have been going here for almost a year. The gym overall is very modern looking and is very clean. There is a large variety of equipment although it’s definitely about 70 percent cardio equipment. That being said there is enough weight equipment to get done what I need to do personally at least for now. Really the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because some of the staff does not come across as all that friendly. Some of them I would say I would say almost kind of look stuck up. Nothing like getting a blank stare with no hello or emotion when you check in! In all fairness maybe they are just shy :) That being said there are 2 particular staff members which I believe are the 2 newest guys there who are over the top friendly every single time. They always smile and say how’s it going....and always say have a good day when you leave...definitely full of great positive energy that any company should find valuable. Also one gentleman who I see more during the daytime who’s be there a while that is much like this also. Being a small business owner I see this as a huge deal I guess. I unfortunately don’t know their names but it’s not hard to figure it out once you get there. Hopefully that energy doesn’t go unnoticed or taken for granted by their employer and ends up with some good raises, promotion or something because it means a lot to a customer. After all the brand of the company is more on the employees faces rather than the banner outside.

I've been a member here for more than 2 years. My daughter and I try to go at least 3 times a week. They are good at cleaning and maintaining the machines, as well as the facilities. Positive atmosphere. I've only had one negative experience, and that was with a staff member's attitude, and the situation was handled with a quick response by the manager. Overall, the best gym I've joined.

My husband and I recently joined, so far so good. It’s clean, Staff seems very friendly & helpful. And you can not beat the price!!

Went with a friend to get a membership for the both of us. Instantly changed my mind when i overheard the girl at the desk laugh about my friend's weight (she apparently didn't know she was my friend). I just told my friend I saw my ex working out and we should pick somewhere else. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable. Although i didn't catch the name of the girl she was talking to, I definitely caught her name. Hailey. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because from the 5 min I was there, everything else seemed okay.

Love this place, everyone is friendly and helpful, you don’t feel inadequate or awkward and the manager Steve is excellent he helped me out today on a big way!!!Steve if you ever come to Maine it’s fresh off the boat lobsters and scallops for you!Thank you!Nicole Leighton

After two years working out here I was lied to about upgrading my membership to the black card. If they tell you something that doesn't read true on the contract don't believe them. Just lost $60 getting out of a commitment I didn't know I had made. Will never work out at another planet fitness.
