Very impressed with quantity and quality of machines. Ended up joining as it is reasonable in price for what you get. Like the option with the black card of tanning and hydromassage. Had a gym membership before as well as a tanning place membership both were more than the black card membership here!

It's clean. No one who works there bothers me unless I ask for their help. Its got everything I need; weights and machines and the like. I also love that the one I go to is open 24hrs a day which is great for me, because I work late. And its just $10 a month which is the best value.

Courteous and mostly professional staff. Clean and COVID compliant. Is a one-stop shop for everything (except sauna, steam room, etc) all shutdown with COVID anyways.Only complaint is staff doesn’t help move people off equipment when using phone and “camping” on weight/resistance equipment.Otherwise would recommend to friends. Great deal for the price!

The employees at the front desk are always really nice. I never have an issue with cleanliness. I like that there are so many different machines. I've been going for about 13 weeks and already down 20 pounds!

I love this gym!! Great environment and I always feel comfortable there. I love that I can always being a friend for free to work out!! What a perk!! I also like the Beauty Angel (power plate with infrared light) and the massage chairs. The equipment and facilities are large so most of the things I like to do at the gym can be accommodated. I also love being able to work out when I travel to other cities and use facilities across the country. If I ever feel depressed all in have to do is go to this gym. It’s very upbeat and fun and easy to relax and forget all my stress while there.

I was assaulted by a member there on 6/30/2019. I was hit by a barbell and then shoved into a dumbbell rack. I returned the following afternoon (7/1/19) to speak to the manager and seek out resolution so I knew I could work out here in safety. Rather than be helpful and reassuring, the manager Roxy D. was defensive, explained "it's Monday and I have a lot of reports," and told me their cameras are too low resolution to do much good. I haven't sought any compensation other than to know I can work out safely at this location and the manager chose not to help me. I hope events like this don't occur often at this location, but if they do, assume you will remain unprotected and unhelped by the management there. I'm waiting to hear back from the franchise's supervisor, but at the time of writing this review I have not been contacted.

I LOVE this location because it is 24 hours and in the Belmar area! However, some machines are not in as great as condition as they could be! With that said, the morning staff is amazing and really know how to start your day with a big smile! For the price and staff this location is 100% worth the price and more!

Called because I was running late for a class. They said no problem. Was their 10 min late and I asked if I could still do it. Jessica said no cause I was more then 10 min late. I called and was in the window. I booked it and was so excited to finally have time to do this class and she was so cold and not understanding. Your job is to help people but I guess she was not interested in helping me.Update: the class I was scheduled for was from 11-12 she finished with the one lady she had at 11:30 went to the front desk and played on her cellPhone and flirted with the assistant manager. I spoke to a person working that day who could not help. So the next day I called to speak to the manager and still have not received a call back. So frustrating that people treats others poorly.

Some of the staff at this location are not very friendly. I use to get greeted when I came in and would get a 'have a good day' on my way out. Now I'm lucky get a grunt during the entire visit.The locker rooms are dirty when I go after work even though there are 5 people standing around talking (to each other) at the front desk.Also, since the "remodel" the treadmills shut down at 30 mins. When you're stuck inside because of snow and ice but still have a training plan having the belt shut down on you every 30 mins makes it impossible to get any serious running in. I get that its not a real gym but it use to at least pretend to be.

Thank you so very much for investing in this facility!!! We're at Planet Fitness Lakewood all the time when we're in town, and have been coming for the past three years. The new cardio and fitness equipment; the new glass doors; the new massage chairs; the new paint and wallpaper; all-new mirrors all around; new benches in the locker room; the extra lockers...it all took a great product and put it over the top. It's also always been very clean, and the front-desk staff is friendly and helpful. We really appreciate the owner(s)' willingness to reinvest in the gym and *keep* it fresh, polished and in good working order. We're big fans, and this is our happy place!
