My experience with manager "C" was absolutely terrible. I was openly discriminated against due to my disabilities and financial hardships, which was really sad.Manager personally threatened me, tried to bully me, and told numerous lies . I have never been treated worse a customer before. When I questioned the lack of positivity, the manager outright stated they don't believe in it. That was when I realized this wasn't Planet Fitness anymore, but rather the manager's own judgmental supremecist club.Transferring to this club was a massive mistake. It appears that they feel entitled to discriminate as they please due to their relationship with their boss. It is extremely obvious to me that they're one of those people who finds joy in abusing others.Canceling my membership was a nightmare. Despite enduring their fraud, lies, and accepting unfair additional charges, they flat out refused to accept my card or any other payment method such as cash, check, or prepaid to cancel. Their reason was that because my card was declined once in the past, I cannot use it to cancel.This is extremely predatory behavior. It should not matter if my card was declined before. I should still have the freedom to use it to distance myself from them for good after getting paid again, without being forced to give them more information to defraud, abuse, stalk me with. One can understand why I would be hesitant to keep giving out more information to someone who has directly scammed, and was now threatening to come after me.I genuinely hope the club addresses these issues and prioritizes customer safety. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against engaging with them unless you happen to be one of their "preferred individuals". It's not worth compromising your privacy, safety, and well-being. This review is based on my personal interpreted experiences and opinions. The events and situations described are from my perspective and are shared to inform others of my experience with this establishment.

Planet Fitness has always been a clean and well organized workout facility in our community. I would suggest it to anyone considering a membership.

Would be better if it were open 24hrs. I closed my account before the new facility opened for to the change in his that the gym was scheduled to be open. It was nice to just go at night when I often couldn't sleep anyway. No problem canvelling in person, and i wasn't sruck how gyms in the Ara are with the contacts x like anytime. 24-hour key card. Small gerbils equipment. It's a good ip. Either way, you look at it with gyms. Anaya read the vibe print and ask for copies of any paper work.

I normally attend the Holt location, but due to some remodeling there, I chose the Okemos location for a workout. I was instantly pleased by the size and spaciousness the Club feel had to it. I noticed there were considerablely less people there (or atleast it felt like it) which I like. The staff was very friendly and even offered a tour of the Club after explaining I was from a different location- just so I knew my way around. All the equipment I use normally including the TRX machine, treadmill and weight machines were all new, clean and available for me to use. I did have a hard time finding adequate floor space to lay a mat down and finish off my workout with yoga, and so that would be the only thing I would change. I didn't use any tanning or massage amenities at the Okemos location this time, but glancing over on my way out, I noticed it looked clean and welcoming. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good. Overall, if I lived closer to that location, I would be happy to attend there, as it is also pretty convenient to be connected to the mall...but for now, I gladly get to be attend the Holt location and really enjoy my Club. I mostly wanted to leave this review to mention that I really appreciate that I can travel from Club to Club and still enjoy the same top level quality that I expect and get from my home Club. I was slightly nervous to try a new Club, but was very comfortable after starting my workout, thanks the comfortable and familiar vibe Planet Fitness strives to create! Thanks so much Planet Fitness!

Truly enjoyed this location. Can't wait to bring my wife. Duplicates of many machines so no downtime. Tanning booth was awesome. Strongly recommend this location looking forward to going back.

Planet Fitness at Okemos, Michigan is a clean place with various exercise instruments including facility of Sona, Back and Foot Massage Chairs, etc.. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. Learning classes are available with expert teachers. I can go any number of times in a given day for exercise. I would recommend Planet Fitness at Okemos to everyone who wants to exercise with fun in clean environment.

Fantastic gym. I have been a member at this gym since 2018. I was able to successfully lose close to 70 pounds working out and eating healthy. Thanks to Covid. I gained some of it back during the pandemic. But this gym will definitely be a amazing resource for me to continue using to get back to my goal again. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I will never be a member anywhere else. Especially the location in Okemos. The facility is always sparkling clean. The workout equipment is amazing and well-maintained. They have plenty of drinks in the cooler in case I run out of water or Gatorade. They have amazing perks of being a black card member. As a black card, member I have access to the tanning booths, and the Hydro massagers and the chair massages. I also get a 50% discount on drinks from the coolers. I also get guest privileges to bring my fiancée.But I do have one serious complaint; this gym seriously need to go back to their normal hours of being open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The pandemic has winded down and businesses are back to normal operation everywhere, so I don’t understand why they are still on the reduced hours. Are these hours ever going back to normal?? I work full-time, and I am a full-time double major engineering student, so my only free time is after 9PM every day of the week. So the 24/7 was the big reason I became a member at this gym. I really don’t want to become a member anywhere else because I love this place so much. That’s why I’m still giving a five star review even though I’m I am very frustrated.

The sign up process was seamless. The staff were helpful with their tour and any questions I had. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant for every age and body shape. In the end it is a welcoming, encouraging, and supportive environment. Many options, a helpful app, and worth the time and money to help you get in shape. I would highly recommend signing up to Planet Fitness and enjoy the health affects and boost in confidence!! You have got this!

Clean and bright. Friendly staff. A great place to workout, especially on cold, snowy, icy days.

Clean with a good variety of machines and weights. As you can imagine with the location, it can be pretty crowded sometimes.
