Nice facility. Excellent workout equipment with good instructions. Enough equipment, so I’ve not had to wait my turn for anything I’ve wanted to do. I love the tanning and massage options to relax after my workout. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable.

Clean, plenty of equipment and open 24hrs throughout the week so perfect for our busy schedule!

I may be bias since I work here, but I love it here As a worker! I love talking to the members in the morning. Everyone is so friendly! Love seeing groups of friends old or young coming in to get fit 😍🤩I’ve seen experienced people who work out and inexperienced and they all have smiles on their faces 😄 love our members🥰 the new equipment is different but nice! Love the counting of reps and time!!

The best fitness center in townFor $20 a month you get an access to hundreds of excellent fitness equipment and also have the opportunity to use their massage and spa rooms. Such a great value and excellent location!

They have one employee that walks from person to person telling them what they can and can’t do, If I wanted the Gestapo I would go to a museum or read a book.. otherwise leave people alone while they work out unless they’re genuinely doing something wrong!!!Also During the summer they let children have free memberships, feels like chuckee cheese in here, they watch the adults like a hawk then let 14 year olds fork a circle and wrestle in the middle of the gym0/10 very unprofessional

BRING A LOCK. There’s hobos sleeping in the locker room all the time. I witnessed a fight here, that was intense. Between grown adults, not even college kids. Police were called.

The Planet Fitness membership will be a great deal for most. In my experience, the employees are always friendly and do a good job to keep the gym and changing rooms clean. Near the start of 2022, the gym's high traffic caused regular wait times for any non-cardio equipment.Planet Fitness has a large selection of equipment including dumbbells (up to 80lbs), barbells/EZ-bars (Up to 60lbs), 4 Smith Machines, Cable Machines, and a good amount of various cardio equipment. There are also tanning beds and 4 massage chairs (2 hydrojet & 2 "regular"), which are included in the Black membership.There are restrictions though... They do not have power racks which is a big downer as you can't perform proper deadlifts and squats.The leg press machine only carries 4x 45lb plates on each side, making the product of the total weight including the bar: 478lbs - Which is fine for most people, but it would be nice to have the option to add at least 2 more plates.They used to have reusable towels you'd use (along with cleaning solution) to wipe down the machines but they changed that to paper towels for "hygenic purposes", which is much more wasteful and studies show is even less hygenic than a clean reusable towel.Otherwise, PF is a great gym with amazing prices! Highly recommend!

Went to the Okemos PF to workout. Doors were locked at 8:30 am. No note on door explaining why the gym is closed. This has happened twice in the last two months. It shows open on website. I also tried to call and no answer. Poor business! Time to move on.

Staff is so friendly, & the gym is always clean no matter what time of day I go. However, I wish there was more floor space in the ab/stretch area bc my gf & I have a hard time finding a place for her and I to wrap up our workout together without being in the way of other people trying to walk around the ab/stretch area. If there were to be a renovation, it would be great if they expanded the floor space for people looking to use the matts. It's like there are more matts available than there is actual space for them to be laid down. I am not much of a lifter, but my gf does wish there were more lifting machines. I love the amount of cardio machines & I like the amount of weight machines there are- I am ok with finding another machine until the one I want frees up (-:
