After your workout make sure to stop by and have David make you a smoothie. Best I’ve had since I moved to Lawrence. This place is awesome!!

Very nice gym to go to every equipment worked very well. A very helpful manager named Miranda helped me a lot for my first time going to Genesis. Overall the place was really nice and clean.

We had an amazing experience at Genesis. Chas and all of the members were so welcoming and after our first tour of the place, we felt like a part of the Genesis community. We can't wait to start our fitness journey with Genesis!

Nice calm gym, has a good amount of amenities. Is not as packed and sweaty as other gyms I have been to in Lawrence which is a welcomed change of pace for someone that goes to the gym to actually lift.

This gym is a scam. Stay away. I signed my now adult son up for a membership 2 years ago. Following signing him up I received multiple emails and phone calls from Chas, the manager, attempting to get me to sign up as well. I've been trying to cancel my son's membership now for well over a year. You can only cancel in person with Chas. You can't cancel with anyone else in the building or over the phone. He is now a ghost that cannot be tracked down and doesn't respond to emails. It's not easy for me to get to the gym to cancel between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm and every time I've made the effort he's out. I've emailed corporate and still nothing. Each month they bill my card. Terrible experience...

When it comes to management there are so many quantities to being the best for the customers. One of the managers at Genesis named Miranda, always has a smile on her face and is very supportive and caring for all piers. And would like to thank her for giving the best advice, conversations, and joy around the gym including myself.

This location is the best Gensis I’ve been too out of all the ones I have visited. The building is very well up kept, enough equipment for everyone even at peak hours, great gym culture and gym staff. Miranda is the personnel I run into the most and she always welcomes you with a big smile and hello. Pete took care of my sign up process and showed me around the facility and it was a smooth and easy process.
