I’m so disappointed in this location. It’s one thing for a gym to be crowded, but to have a machine blocked from use because 5 guys are literally leaning against it/sitting on it and talking is really unfair for those of us who want to make proper use of the facility ! If you’re not there to work out, then find someplace else to socialize, how sad and pathetic! Oh and management doesn’t bother to enforce any rules of courtesy regarding equipment use. I hate this place with a passion.

Update: Something has changedNot really sure what happened, but as soon as July hit a huge wave of new people have started to come in and now it is at max capacity all hours of the day. Normally, I wouldn't have a problem with the crowd, but about 80% of the people here are groups of 6-10 college kids that do nothing but sit around taking up machines and gossiping the whole time. Really really annoying, no one has respect for others anymore with people constantly walking in my way while mid set on a cable machine, equipment is no longer getting put away and no one is cleaning their stations when done. This gym went from an enthusiast, intermediate/advanced level gym where everyone was friendly, considerate and was only here to make gains. Now it's a glorified community center.Very busy, but for a good reason...The gym is pretty much always packed, even in the middle of the day, so I can't imagine how busy it is in the evenings, when people are off work. That being said though, it's busy for a reason.Everyone is very nice, the equipment is clean and everyone goes out of their way to put equipment back in the right place and wipe down whatever station they are done using. There is also a ton of equipment so no matter how busy it gets there is always a set of dumbells or a machine open that fits your needs.

If you call and cancel your membership do yourself a favor and take a screen shot, record the conversation and take notes make sure you store them in a safe secure location because they won't. Today when reviewing my bank statement I noticed charges were still coming out of my account even though I had called a few months ago to cancel, based on my conversation with the "manager" my last visit was 04/17 so I'm assuming it was the weekend before that I had canceled as I wanted to go one more time in my "30 day notice period". I'm not looking for a refund it is what it is, I just want my membership canceled. Then I get told theres a 30 day waiting period just like I was told when I originally cancelled.Instead of just flat canceling they have to send it to corporate because it's a classic he said she said dilemma. Basic customer service, if someone calls to make a change to an account notate the file.

Really having a hard time getting anyone from EOS to refund my savings account 10 months worth of fees to a gym membership we didn't have. I've emailed 3 different email address, I've called the 1-800 # on my bank statement and told my story. I've spoken personally with the Layton manager and still have not heard or seen anything. No emails back either.

When I switched my home gym from the Syracuse location to the Roy location, I was told that I wouldn't be charged a yearly fee since I had just paid the yearly fee 2 months prior. I did end up getting charged but EOS was able to reverse the charge and that was great! Very nice facility and the staff are nice.
