Crunch Fitness - League City

I've been going to this gym since July of last year. It has its perks on being a cheaper more affordable option but for a place so big they really don't have enough equipment for the amount of business they have. It sucks trying to work out during the week because unless you're going at 1 in the morning it's always packed and you have to wait for equipment. I wish they would add more equipment considering all the business or expand. Your best bet is to go in on the weekend at night like 10 or 11.

I’ve been to a few gyms in Houston but this one by far has the most positive and welcoming environment of any gym I’ve been to. All of the workers are friendly and nice, as well as the people who go to the gym. I recently went to Alphaland and it really made me appreciate the environment and ambience that Crunch has. Overall a very positive, welcoming, and kind environment at this gym with all the equipment you could need, a bunch of cleaning stations, and extra rooms for people who feel more comfortable working out in a less crowded space. Going to have to cancel my membership soon because I’ll be moving, but I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area.

Crunch has became my new home since I graduated pharmacy school and back home for good. I love that it's open 24/7 and the A/C is phenomenal!! Who wants to workout in the heat, especially is Houston during the blazing summer? Not me! The staff here are friendly and the equipment are up to date unlike La Fitness in League.I come here to relieve stress and at the same time get a good workout in. My favorite are stairmasters, treadmill, kickboxing bag (though it could be heavier), deadlift bar, etc. Obviously I love cardio!

If you’re looking for a gym but don’t know where to go crunch is definitely the place to be!!! The staff is beyond helpful and the classes are amazing Keelen and Phillip have so much enthusiasm and you can tell they love what they do and it makes the experience even better, 10 out of 10 highly recommend :) and even if you’re not ready to commit yet you can literally try it out for free before you sign up how awesome is that!!

I moved out of the state of Texas and canceled my services with Crunch and they still took money out of my account and told me I had to send an email to completely cancel if I wanted to cancel my membership. It's cool that was 25 dollars lost, keep it for your needs.

My favorite place! The staff is so kind and lovable and the atmosphere is friendly and laid back. I met my closest friends in the group fitness classes. This gym is always exciting, friendly and productive!!

My son is a college student home for summer. He purchased a membership while he was home for summer. Since he goes back to school in August, it was only for 2 months. In July his account was charged for an anual fee. He was never made aware of this charge and when he asked, he was told it is in the contract. He was told there is nothing they can do about that charge since it is set up automatically. Not sure why an anual fee is charged for a student only using the membership for 2 months. He asked to speak to a manager and was told none were available at the time. He left his number and never recieved a call from anyone.

The employees are very friendly (especially the guys and gals at the front desk) and tend to remember your name! Whenever I got a tour I was fascinated at the facility, massage rooms, tanning rooms, and plenty of equipment as well as NEW machines I didn’t even know existed.

Very lovely gym!!! Andrew was very inviting and made me feel very welcome.... I came in out of curiosity and then..BAM signed up! I’m excited to start. 24hr perfect for me. Superb customer service :)

I have not been to the gym since Covid, I put my membership on hold thinking I would go back when things got "normal". However I contracted Covid pneumonia and was in the hospital for a week, had to be off work for a month, therefor lost my job. I tried to cancel my membership via email and phone calls, they told me I needed to come in to cancel. I explained to them that I had moved. They still said I needed to come in to cancel. Fast forward a couple of months after trying I was finally able to make it in to cancel and they have tacked on so many fees and wanted it paid before they would cancel my membership. BEWARE OF WHAT YOUR GETTING INTO! they say you can cancel at anytime but make it VERY difficult!
