I went to this gym for a day while out of town on business. This is a nice gym that has all the weights you need for a good workout. Honestly its one of the few "regular" gyms in the area due to its proximity to Beverly Hills. It was a bit crowded but I still managed to get a good workout in. I definitely recommend if you are in town for a few days.

I’ve noticed that African American members do not receive the same level of customer service compared other members. The front desk staff readily greet white members when they come through the door and say goodbye to them when they leave, but often do not even make eye contact with me or my partner.

On 9/29/2022 one of my best friends had all their belongings (car & apt keys, wallet, cash) stolen within minutes of entering the gym (he left shortly after arrival since the gym was overcrowded and his locker was broken into). He received no assistance with this incident from management and after posting this to social media, has received numerous responses on similar incidents and horror stories indicating that this has been a regular occurrence with members at this location. The only recommendation I will provide regarding this Crunch is to only take there what you are willing to lose...

The A/U has been broken for months**. It's cooler to work out OUTSIDE** then inside. $100+ membership to work out in what feels like sauna. There hasn't been enough actions to justify the cost. These aren't livable conditions and let alone working out** were still paying and stilling working out. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Don’t bother joining - it’s not worth it.The focus is on sales, not managing and maintaining the club. For the second year in a row, the A/C has been broken all summer. The problem started in May, it’s now September, and no progress. They have a sign at front desk blaming the landlord. Under the lease, Crunch is responsible for the AC, not the Landlord. The club was recently closed for a day due to no electricity. The sign on the door sated it was out all over, yet Trader Joes, the theater next door and Salon Republic all had power. The power was out due to non-payment of the utility bill - Crazy! Management doesn’t care about unhealthy conditions like no AC, dirty locker rooms, and broken equipment. Sales are all they care about.

This location is kinda garbage compared to NYC. they raised my rate $10 last year without notification and again $10 this year, but they have not made any upgrades to the gym and their towel quality compared to other crunch locations is embarrassing. The air conditioning hasn’t worked all summer… gonna be tough competition once John Reed opens in weho fall 22.

Great experience here! Been on vacation for the week in LA & the GM Casey was super welcoming; getting set up for a guest pass was easy. The facility was clean, ergonomic, & approachable. Thanks for having me!

A good gym, and one of the better chain gyms in the area. Nice, big, clean workout area with lots of equipment. Sadly, a little crowded right now (Jan 2022) due to an influx of people from the 24 Hour Fitness. Has a live DJ some evenings that plays circuit music, so be aware. Locker rooms are pretty nice, or were (the 24 Hour Fitness newbies are starting to leave wet towels everywhere). Showers are very nice for a chain gym.

Bunch of panzi mask NazisAfter 18 months of not being in gym I went today to reactivate my membership. I have to say that Casey was super nice and helpful.I wish I could say the same for other staff and members. My mask fell 2 inches below my nose and I was immediately apprehended by snarky gym members and staff. The worst experience I have ever had. I cancelled my membership on the spot. If you care about breathing and your freedom this is NOT the gym for you

It is a gym with good equipment and structure but very hot in summer I have to keep asking them to turn on the fans since the air conditioning is always under maintenance and the fans suddenly stop and then I have to go to the reception many times asking them to turn the fan back on. I've had my bank cards stolen from my purse twice in the lockerroom. plus a personal trainer sold me a monthly package of private lessons and stopped working at the gym the next week. I requested the refound and they denied it. They are forcing me to take classes with another personal trainer. and the 3 times I changed the unit I had to register again because the membership of one unit is not valid for another.
