John Reed Fitness in Los Angeles offers a unique gym experience with its vibrant decor, modern equipment, and upbeat atmosphere. The facility feels like a blend of a nightclub and an art gallery, enhanced by live DJ sessions during workouts. The gym’s high energy and diverse setup appeal to many, fostering a dynamic space for fitness enthusiasts.
The gym excels in cleanliness, equipment variety, and an inclusive environment. While the staff generally receives positive remarks, there are occasional complaints of unfriendliness. Love the decor and ambiance. The classes are great and most trainers are awesome. We need better spinning instructors. We need more like Michael and Fabian!

Those lazy unprofessional rats slacking on the job in the front desk need to treat customers with respect and represent the company. I went to sign up nobody was helping me but instead the girls working in the front desk were slacking off and talking to customers about personal issues Is outside of work related business.the new generation 🤦♀️ hired Nowadays

It was My first-time visiting this gym I was excited to experience it was nice inside but the front desk associates are rude & disrespectful. They made a remark that upset me before I was able to enter, so I decided to leave and not get a membership poor customer service disrespectful.

Been a member since beginning of 2021. It’s pricey but at the time I really thought it was worth it. Great range of lifting equipment and they would really take feedback on the surveys they sent out seriously. Like implementing longer membership options that include guests. But I guess it all comes with a price, Now a days it’s way too packed, equipment is worn down and busted like the plastic is torn so bacteria can harbor, and it’s super stuffy and just plain smelly inside now every time I show up … I have seen people use stuff wrong and ruin machines along with never reracking weights like a 3 plate loaded barbell up top the highest peg on the squat rack. Come on now. Sorry, but got to be honest.

One-of-kind gym experience. Keep your headphones in your gym bag. The music in this place sets the tone for your workout. There’s a stage with a DJ booth in the center of the gym. A legit DJ doing a legit set while you’re working out. It’s as great as it sounds.Combine the energy, state of the art equipment, and hot people everywhere - get ready to have the most intense workout of your life.

Overall gym is good. Nice equipment and good atmosphere with the club vibe. Staff need to be better at greeting folks when they first enter and provide a towel to everyone. Especially when there are two or three of them hanging out at the front desk chatting it up and often times shopping online for personal stuff. I think they forget we can see their screens 😂. Larger towels would help too. There is no pool or hot tub. Dry sauna is pretty cool. Locker room facilities are nice, they are often out of toilet paper and paper towels (even early in the mornings when they’ve just opened). Glad to see the showers are finally fixed.Lots of influencers come here so be ready to see a lot of camera equipment all over the gym. If that is going to bother you, this gym is certainly not for you. Music is super loud but that is what they are going for. Again if that is going to bother you, do not go here. They have a cool DJ booth in the middle. Sometimes you’ll see a DJ spinning. Evenings get super busy, but that’s any gym in LA. A lot better than Golds or LA Fitness. I would also recommend checking out Los Angeles Athletic Club.Parking situation is terrible on an almost daily basis. Yikes! Was gonna give this place a 3 since there is room for improvement, but the parking issues knock it down to a 2 for me 🤷🏽♂️.

Do you have any updates on the West Hollywood location? I want to join but I work in west hollywood so it's more convenient for me to join that one instead. I hear first quarter 2023 and I already know where it is going to be.

Jason greeted my friend and I as soon as we arrived. His delicate customer service, and knowledgeable experience, made this visit very pleasurable. Best Gym / Cross-fit experience so far!
