I love, love, love the 30 minute circuit! Paying $20 for tanning and the message chairs are worth every penny on its own. Add a gym membership and bring a friend for free on the same $20; what more can you ask for?

Always super clean and the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. The evenings can get pretty hectic, as is customary with all gyms, but early mornings and weekends are fantastic! This is a great gym for basic needs. It's an excellent value for the tanning + massages chairs add on. I am actually spending less than a tanning salon alone with their gym + tanning package at Planet Fitness. They also recently updated the vast majority of their equipment and now include a TRX station! I do wish they had rowing machines and spin-style-bikes; most of the cardio equipment is very leg-focused and basic. Those additions would earn 10 STARS from me!

I enjoy being a black card member at Planet Fitness. I can feel confident to workout by myself without the added pressure of feeling judged. They also have a variety of different equipment and many to use so the wait is never long. One suggestion I would make is to expand the mat area.

My son loved the idea of being able to sign up for the teen summer challenge for free. He says everyone is great, no pressure from staff. Everyone does their own thing. No gym shaming like other places in town.

Love the cleanliness. Variety of equipment. My most favorite is the hydro massage!!! All of that at a very affordable price. If it wasn't for planet fitness I wouldn't be able to afford a membership. Lubbock, TX staff is always friendly as well.

Planet Fitness is a great place to go work out. I like that y'all provide a variety of equipment to use. And that on most every piece it describes how to use it and what it does for which part of the body. Plenty of choices to choose from. The facility is clean as well as equipment. All the staff are friendly and there to help you with any questions you have. You also earn points along the way that you can use for refreshments or t shirts, gym bags etc. I like the $10 a month, small price to pay for a great place to get healthy. If I could give them zeros I would! Just recently canceled my membership due to using the gym at my apartment for FREE! Well I went in to cancel yesterday. I’ve been a member since 1/29/17 and we are now in March 1 and haven’t used my memebership since awhile just waited it out till I could close it for a FREE CANCLE FEE! Well guess what FREE CANCELLATION is a joke here! They’ll charge you 42 and more even when clearly it says FREE cancellation after a year! And I also NEVER RESIGNED so they kept me signed up or forgied my signature to keep me signed up! I also called and whoever answered the phone had ZERO customer service skills! To tell me I don’t understand! Yeah that’s a joke! It’d been nice to get their name but they didn’t provide that either and when I wanted to talk to someone above him he would ignore that question! Very unprofessional of this company!

It’s alright but when they say judgement “free”zone it’s not necessarily true I’m not saying everyone is like this but a lot of people are. especially if you have been going for a while people are very judgmental and loud not only that a lot of younger people go here with very high rude egos the equipment is by far a five star ⭐️ but the people are a 1star just my personal opinion

I love this gym! There are a variety of exercise equipment that help with exercising. You can ask an employee for help with a machine or anything else that confuses you. The locker room, showers, and bathroom stalls are always clean. There are stations with disinfectant and paper towels everywhere, which I appreciate as someone who doesn't like sweat stains on my exercise equipment. Plus there are "first come first serve" classes for certain areas of the body a person wants to improve lead by a trainer. Also, you can schedule an appointment with a trainer to tailor an exercise program to you but they give you freedom to change it if you wish. The overall goal is to get a person to exercise.

Planet fitness would be a good gym if not for the manager. Failure to post changes and closings which should be said before it done.. plus just rude all the way around.On one positive note Planet Fitness does have fair prices and it’s clean. I just pre-enrolled at Crunch and they bait and switch their prices and I still don’t have a clear picture of what I purchased. So if you can stand the rude manager I would choose Planet Fitness their pricing is not hidden and definitely cheaper.
