I was drawn in with the $0.25 to sign up deal going on. I attended the gym once and upon arrival I expected a tour or at least a breakdown of other fees that might occur but the lady at the counter simply gave me my pass without any information. 2 weeks later got a notice from my bank that I had been overdrafted for fees I never agreed to. So all in all it was $100 for one visit to this stupid gym.

Been a member at this gym now since it opened. I travel with my job so I get to go to many pf's around Virginia and North Carolina. I love my home gym, but really wish it had some of the new equipment that are available now. I know space is limited, but the 360 area is great in the newer facilities and having a black card zone spa services versus, here there and everywhere would be nice as well. Ladies bathroom/shower area is really showing its age. Again, love my Lynchburg pf, just think it could be so much better with some tweaks, investments and TLC. Thank you!

Poor customer service! Horrible communication!! Lack of respect for members!!! I am writing on her behalf of my mother, who is a member of this gym. Let me first acknowledge that per my mother, the lady is nice and very respectful that works there. Not everyone is rude. However I was very disappointed in the story that she shared with me after her recent visit to drop off an item to a fellow member. One would expect the front desk guy to ask if she was a member, potential member, or even state that for security purposes he will have to scan her keyfob. However, the front desk guy did not greet her, acknowledge her words, or even respond with any words when spoken to. He did not say one word to her, instead he just held up the scanner, as she proceeded to ask for clarification. Each time she made a statement or asked a question he simply held up the scanner or shrugged. My mother should feel great and welcomed each time she enters into the gym as she is trying to better her health. She should never leave feeling disrespected or less than. Wish I could better elaborate. But overall, horrible service. Staff needs to be trained in customer service and sales. Because if she was not a member, that was the perfect opportuniy to offer membership and make an impression.

Trucker friendly!!! I came at midnight(I only had my tractor,no trailer) Really quiet, clean gym, nice equipment. Tye, night clerk, was really friendly. Love the location. I appreciate the security letting me park, get my exercise on and leave. The only thing I wanted to point out, the mens locker room smelled like dirty mop water. And the showers had a bar of soap stuck to the shower floor and hair on the floors and tile(3 out of 4 had the hair)I clean my shower every time. I wish others would too. Other than that, I really like this gym. Definitely will be back.

My favorite gym EVER. The staff are very helpful, the membership plans are awesome. The environment is very casual, welcoming and relaxing. There's nice amenities, and it's so nice of them to have little Tootsie rolls at the desk for everyone. I highly recommend coming here!

$1 down $10 a month no commitment is what they say and on their flyer says it. Planet Fitness is a total liar. These commission-based salespeople are total frauds. A few of them told me this same line sales pitch not just one person. They finally told me it's no commitment but it's an agreement. and I said do I sign anything? and they said yes I said that's a contract. Planet Fitness pushes their Salesforce to lie to your face and over the phone. They should have their asses legislated to the max.

The gym is very clean and the staff is pretty nice. Obviously, they lack some equipment (i.e. bench press, squat racks, chest press) but that is not to say that you cannot get a workout here. Id recommend coming here if you’re looking for a good, cheap option.

the equipment is good, but not very clean. Also, some of the staff were not helpful and sometime very rude. One time i asked for cleaning stuff for the tanning bed, they said if i did not like how he cleaned the do not use.the one worker for the night time weekends would have a tendency to fall asleep at the desk or message chair.

This gym lies about everything it stands for. The employees walking around with jugs of water....The free training is not free. The trainer wanted me to pay $35 A SESSION. the signs say free training. But I did notice if. Female comes up she gets here for free. I observed this first hand. This is inappropriate. I signed up because of the free training. Beware of this gym. Free training is not included. The commercial on tv says the world judges but we don't....this is a lie when the trainer makes snide comments behind peoples backs

Not a good gym for anyone seeking to build lots of muscle. Mainly geared towards older people and new gym-goers. No barbells, only dumbells up to 75 lbs. Once you max out you're pretty much forced to plateau. Tootsie rolls at the front desk remind you of the type of people the gym is meant for.
