Planet Fitness

This is a nice facility with a friendly staff and tons of equipment. Be careful with the tanning booths, I’m used to doing 10 minutes at my home club. Here you’re allowed a max of 9 minutes. I don’t know what the difference is but I got Fried.My only criticism of the facility is the Shower Stalls. It takes almost no time to spray down tile grout with a mold killing solution. These stalls haven’t been properly cleaned in a while.

Joining Planet Fitness is an easy decision.On arrival the manager Cullen gave me a tour.He made the place seem welcoming.Not even the construction ruined my experience.Can’t say that I’ve been to a better gym.Everyone on the team was great.Never going anywhere else.At Planet Fitness you can work out judgment free.

Love this location! So clean and the upgrades are wonderful. The staff is great as well. In particular, Sam always greets with a smile and has a joke or two tucked away after a hard workout!

I have been to many gyms over the years and truly appreciate Planet Fitness in Lynchburg, VA. The number 1 positive is that they keep the gym clean especially the locker rooms. Cullen and Sam are very customer friendly which adds to the positive experience I find at the gym. The recent remodel took a long time however it is well worth the wait to have it finished. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

I have been going to this gym FOREVER and have loved the new facelift!! The front desk is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the price is so awesome that if I get busy and miss a few months, it’s not a huge deal! You get so much bang for your buck and bringing Cullen in as manager was genius - he has customer service down to a science! Thanks for all you do!!

This location is very sanitary and convenient given the fact it is centrally located. The equipment is up-to-date and easy to use. The facility recently underwent renovations and the new set up is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sam, specifically, makes himself available to be of help to all gym members and makes the facility a pleasant place to be. Nothing but a great experience.

This gym is entirely too small for the area they're in. It didn't matter what time I went, the machines, cables, and dumbbells and free weights were always taken. You can't get a decent workout in because you spend more than half the time waiting for something to free up. The price point is great, but, you definitely get what you pay for. I've ended my membership and will gladly pay more to have the ability to actually work out.

I've been going here for almost 2 years and I really enjoy it. It's newly renovated, very spacious, the staff is always very helpful/friendly and you just can't beat $25 per month! They have everything needed to meet anyone's basic fitness goals. Lynchburg has no shortage of decent gyms so most of the time, PF tends not to be too crowded. I can't wait until they go back to being open 24/7 so I can get back in those late night and early morning workouts.

Love the conienance of planet fitness in the river ridge mall. Easy place to swing in and always have room to exercise without it feeling over crowded.
