24 Hour Fitness

I am always going to fairview 24 but some times I got to the McKinney one because it’s open later. I go there for swimming and it’s so dirty. The shower areas are also dirty. The manager needs to do a better job.

Just not enough equipment, always packed when I go, and its tough getting to use anything for your plan. One hoop court also sucks, I love to shoot around but being one hoop I dont even look in anymore, always broke cables and one chest fly machine.

Today was my first day as a new member. The machines are FILTHY! There is no way the cleaning staff has cleaned these machines in weeks or maybe months. I looked to my left and right to make sure it wasn’t just that they somehow missed the machine I was using. All of the machines were covered with dust.Management, please have the cleaning staff clean the machines for everyone’s physical health and safety. It will literally take less than a minute to use a Swiffer on those machines.

I've been going to 24 for 10+ years and this location since they opened. Since lowering gym prices it's packed with teenagers that use this gym as a hangout, standing around in boxers and pajama. I'm tired of going in on chest day and having to do legs or run to whatever machine comes available. I'm out, looking for a new gym now. If you go here in the evening, good luck getting a machine... Way to crowded.

Friendly staff, clean facility, well equipped. Or at least it WAS. Bathrooms are unsanitary and showers have the same trash in them for days in a row. No water pressure in the showers and soap dispensers are often out of soap. It smells like dried sweat and sewage in the men's bathroom. Lots of equipment was taken to a group fitness area that is off limits to most people. If you are looking for a gym, I recommend you look somewhere else until they get their act together. Update: At least some of the employees are making an effort to be friendly and greet people as they enter. So, I'll move my rating up by 1 star.

Too many people use the hot tub without taking a shower first. I saw this guy came to the tub side strip down his pants went right in with his boxer.

Got a 3 day guest pass online yesterday, the front desk worker got me into the CRM and I was good to go. I come back today and the kid at the desk says they don’t do passes and the other guy shouldn’t have done that? He was pretty condescending as well and laughed it off. Didn’t do well with customer service even remotely and was bad mouthing the team.

The pool and hot tub never smell like chlorine when you walk into the area. The pool water taste like sweat every time I try to use the pool. Lately when I’ve used the pool and or the hot tub I get a uti infection. And when I inform the management staff about it a few times they argue with me saying all levels are normal when in fact they are not.when I first started using the McKinney location it was perfectly ran. The woman’s shower’s have mold growing in the corners in the grout. And there is hair and trash in every shower stall day and night. I go at all different times of the day and it’s all the same in the showers along with the pool area.

I started this gym and instantly regretted the decision. There is no pride in the gym and it’s equipment. Multiple machines are broken or dirty, weights are never put up, and alway over crowed with teens not working out. Save yourself time and money. There is a reason why they have the cheapest prices.

Out of this location, Fairview and Plano, the others put this gym to shame. I only go here the most because it’s the closest to my home. Always out of paper towels, just feels dirty, machines are crooked and dirty. Only two out of the five recumbent bikes work and it’s been this way since right after I joined. I even heard a member complain about it and the response he got was, “I’m sorry sir, there’s nothing I can do about it.” Unacceptable and unprofessional. It would be great if the manager of this location could visit Fairview and Plano and ask for some tips.Look at all these awful reviews and we are all saying the same things yet nearly every single response from the company social media employee is literally cut and paste with ZERO actions taken.
