I’m really frustrated that there seems to be mixed communication with staff members. I cancelled my membership for the 30 Day notice and left a message and got no response back, waited a week and called told I would get a call back, nothing. So the next day I call again, they tell me that I have to email the manager to do the cancellation himself due to me not living here anymore and couldn’t come sign paperwork. Got no response back from manger or anyone, figured it was taken care of. I look at my bank and realize I got charged again. So I call back to the gym they tell me they can refund me, but the manger has to be the one to do it. So manager calls me today saying I’m pretty much screwed because I wasn’t within the 30 day cancellation time with my email stamp, but that’s because I was supposed to receive a call back and the man on the phone told me he would cancel it. Apparently they do no such thing over the phone and won’t honor my refund even though it was a mess up on their part because nobody related this information too me about me having to do all this back and forth. Plus manager made me feel like I wasn’t being heard nor, that he believed me or the situation. The only decent thing he did was cancel it manually after I was already told that wasn’t a possibility.

I really loved going to the gym, but unfortunately I had to stop, because I was told unvacinated, unmasked employees were there assisting me, and said nothing to me till I asked weren't they concerned. At the last of July I notified myTrainer I was canceling my training. Went in and talked to GM and explained about my issue and found out a few of employees including him, also had not been vaccinated or masked. GM show me how to cancel membership and submit. Following month charges appeared on credit card. Called and told they must of not received, really... so submitted again and guess what, charges appeared again. Went in again, and now since training charge weren't picked up till today, they can't do anything till I pay traing charge for this month. What next, the gal said my second request doesn't show up either, I must of submitted it wrong. I'm so angry I could spit.

I came to McKinney since I plan on moving there later in the year after my military requirements, and I decided to visit this gym. It’s very clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly. I fell in love with it so I decided to sign up for a membership. I explained to the staff how I would need it frozen a few days after signing because Im still required to be stationed elsewhere and they said it was completely possible. They supposedly froze it a few days after I signed up which is what we agreed on. A month later I was charged 27.06 for another month and an additional 47.63. I called requesting for assistance for this issue and the staff who claimed to be the manager answered. He said that he’s never seen me before or has ever seen me request my membership to be frozen. I believe he thought I was just lying to him because he “didn’t even know who I was”. He said I had to pay the 47.63 regardless without even explaining what the charge was for. Then when I asked if I could possibly be refunded for the month I didn’t use , he said that I should go back and then he could see if he can credit my 27.06 for the month that needed to be frozen. He said that after knowing that I’m still elsewhere, away from Texas for the Army, so there’s no way I can do that til months later. He wasn’t helpful nor was he polite in any manner. He seemed to be extremely impatient and not understanding even during our short conversation. This is just a warning for others to beware of how unfriendly and how unwilling the manager is towards his members if some sort of issue were to occur. Aside from some staff members, this is a great gym with nearly everything you need.

The staff is nice. Although not one single staff member was wearing a mask. This gym is similar to a Planet Fitness. They have a few levels of membership. Your basic that allows you access to the gym during their staffed times. And the couple after adding a few more privileges. They offer pretty much the same equipment. They offer the same tanning options and only a hydro massage chair. And the deal breaker for me was... they have a 10 minute a day rule on their chairs whereas PF will allow as much time as you need. The staff member said it was because there was always people waiting to use them. I think there were maybe 3 people in the entire gym when he said this. If your not flexible on something so simple as time in a massage chair well, I guess for my aches, pains and physical therapy Club 4 is not for me. I will drive the extra 10 mins to a PF.

I absolutely love this gym. The gym has all the equipment I need plus much more. All the staff are friendly and helpful. You can tell that the general manager, Andrew, really dedicates himself to running an excellent gym facility with an awesome atmosphere. I see him involved everytime I'm there, whether it be cleaning, interacting with guests, or walking through to make sure things are running smoothly! Thank you Club4 for bringing McKinney the perfect gym!

I was coming from another gym. I was immediately sold once I toured the gym. The gym is spacious and has a great free weight section along with an indoor turf area. Along with message chairs and recovery beds. I really Recommend this gym!

BEST GYM IN MCKINNEY HANDS DOWN.Super affordable with INSANE quality. Ever single employee has made a positive impact on my experience here. Equipment is in excellent condition. I've only been a member for about 2 weeks now but I've had a great experience so far! The staff is super nice and helpful. The gym is surprisingly huge, all new equipment and very clean, kept up. My boys go to the child center and have so much fun they never want to leave! Definitely would recommend it to anyone.
