So my first experience with Frequency was a 30 day body challenge in August of 2017. It was a literally my first time being in a gym so of course I was freaking out. All I had to do was show up to 3 classes per week, and eat the food on the meal plan that they provided for me. And for someone who wasn’t “fitness-minded” that sounded so hard, i was worried i wasn’t going to do well, that i couldn’t eat that much food... worried people wouldn’t like me and that i wouldn’t know how to do stuff... well i ended up falling in love with the gym and the people and the environment that I joined the gym immediately after the challenge and I’ve been going three times a week since.I am currently doing another challenge... this one being a lot more... challenging for lack of a better word. Every year in January they do Operation Crush, it’s a 4 week challenge that requires you to come to 4-7 classes per week, and to dabble in the CrossFit and the Pulse classes each week. They provide a meal plan for this one as well, and encourage you even more to stick with it. They make a Facebook page just for people doing the challenge where people can check in and be accountable. So i started doing my first CrossFit classes 3 weeks ago and I fell in love with my gym all over again. CrossFit is challenging not only for your body, but for your mind, and I love seeing all the things I didn’t even know I was capable of.I have never met a group of people like the coaches at Frequency. They are all so amazing and informative and just so genuinely passionate about what they do and also what they are there to do for you.Never once have I felt out of place, lost, like I COULDNT or didn’t know how to do something. Because there is always a coach, and/or another member right there to show you what to do and show you how to do it based on your level of fitness.I’m so happy to be a part of this community, and to get to grow and learn with such amazing people!

Great gym, best coaches, best programming, and regardless of your fitness level you will feel welcome. 5 starts hands down.Updated Jan 2018Frequency offers both crossfit and non crossfit programming if you are not comfortable with that yet. Coaches will coach you on technique to prevent injury. You can also take it to the next level with meal planning, private coaching, as well as time at open gym to work on things outside of regular classes.

I was very apprehensive about trying out Frequency when I arrived for my first class. I was felt out of place next to the mixed crowd of seasoned crossfitters. To my surprise every person I encountered throughout the session-and every session after that- was very welcoming and uplifting! The guidance from the staff has kept me motivated and gaining confidence, strength and endurance in every class. Thank you coaches!

Where do I start, if there’s one word I could describe that sums up Frequency Fitness it would be AWESOME. The environment is awesome, the coaches are awesome, every athlete that trains here is awesome in the own ways. Frequency Fitness was the start of my foundation of getting back on the road I wanted to be on. A road that has no finish line, only mile makers to see how far you have come. This placed pushed me to physical levels I have never been pushed to before. Most importantly Frequency Pushed me to mental levels I could have never gotten to if it wasn’t for the coaches & athletes. (Freq’s as what we call each other ) Everybody here wants to win, Everybody here loves to compete, everybody here wants to see one another achieve there personal goals inside & also outside of the gym. I can go on and on about Freq. Fitness but the only way your going to feel this electrifying energy is if you go check it out yourself.

I needed a boost to get motivated to get back in shape so I decided to try a 4 week challenge at Frequency . Exactly what I needed and saw great results. When they started Operation Crush after the holidays I knew I was all in. This challenge has been even more intense with being able to go as many days as you can and attend both Crossfit and Pulse.I struggle a lot with running and my crossfit form but there is always encouragement from the coaches and suggestions for better flexibility. Since I started I have always felt welcome and look forward to continuing on my weight loss journey here. Love this place!!!

I was a member at another box for about 2 years. When my daughter was born, I took a 2 year break and lost most of what I had accomplished. I wanted a change and got back in the game at Frequency about a month ago.I believe the programming and coaching is superior to my past experience and I have seen great improvements in a short time. The late 7:30 class option has also given me the ability to achieve a better balance with my family. I am happy to be active again in a laid back and positive community. I would recommend Frequency to anyone new to the sport or just looking for a change.

Frequency Fitness is not your standard gym/fitness center. It is way more. I have never felt more at home or in better hands and they have really helped me to turn a corner in my life. I signed up for an initial boot camp fearing the worse expecting to be not taken serious being a big guy. I didn’t actually realize it was a CrossFit facility and once I knew that I was even more worried and didn’t think I would enjoy it. Boy was I wrong. They took time to understand my goals and reasons why I wanted to do this and not only did they help put me on a fitness track but help me better understand my nutrition and how to do exercise the right way. The coaches go above and beyond and will help you in any way. There is no shouting at you or laughing at you but instead helping to make you better. I had all intentions of doing this boot camp and then going off on my own and working out at home. But even before boot camp was finished I was already signed up for the next step in pulse classes. This is the most supportive environment I have ever seen not just from your coaches but from your new friends working out alongside you. So if you have never exercised or exercise often and want to take either that first step or the next step then I promise you this is the place for you and you will not be disappointed. If only I had found this place earlier. Did I mentioned the coaches are the best in the business.

Beginner or competitive you'll love it... Great coaches, new equipment and a community that makes you feel welcomed. What impresses me the most is that a lot of places have coaches/owners that want to talk about how much they can lift or how fast they can do something - not at frequency - the coaches here are genuinely focused on helping you get better. 100% recommend!

So a little bit of back ground on me:Rapidly approaching 50; dad of three teenagers in college and high school.Struggled with losing and gaining weight since 40.Basketball, soccer, and football player in high school.History-- I started a Boot Camp program at Frequency Fitness almost two years ago. Beginning Boot Camp made me very nervous as I have never been a “group” workout person and had always shied away from these things. I had not worked out with other people since playing sports in high school so needless to say I was not looking forward to this type of gym. My nerves were quickly settled when I walked in to the first Boot Camp class and was welcomed by an incredibly sincere staff of coaches that were genuinely happy I was there. After the first couple of classes I knew that I could handle the “group” atmosphere and even thrive in it. After completing the Boot Camp with great results I decided to continue my journey at Frequency and I joined permanently. Now almost two years after Boot Camp most of the people I was in Boot Camp with are still members at Frequency (I think that says a lot about this place).Atmosphere— Everyone that I have come across at Frequency is happy to be there and looks forward to their workout. The staff is always welcoming and there is no “beefcake” mentality that can be found at other gyms. Somehow there is no judging here by members or staff; just support and encouragement every time.Facility and equipment— The equipment is new and well maintained. There is always enough to go around even in full classes. The facility is clean and well maintained.Coaching— The coaches are ALL incredible. It’s not only their knowledge of the movements and exercises but their ability to modify if needed. They always ask if you have any injuries, soreness, or concerns before class starts so they can give advice on how to treat or avoid injuries. All of the coaches have a personal vested in interest in each member’s success. This is shown in many ways but mainly by coaches reaching out to members to check in if you haven’t attended class for a while. They do not pressure you but want to know if you are OK.Class availabilty—I love that there is always a 7:30 option as this is the only time that I can attend most days. The staff is always aware if classes and times need to be added or adjusted to accommodate schedules of the members. This makes it hard to make too many excuses for not coming to class. If Crossfit or group workout environments make you uneasy or nervous; I would strongly recommend that you give Frequency a try. I believe your apprehension will disappear after a class or two. I highly recommend Frequency to people of ALL fitness levels.

I have been going to Frequency Fitness for two years now. It was tough to get started but once I got going and was encouraged by the supportive coaches and other members, I was hooked. I love having a community where I can enjoy getting in shape and be held accountable. Some people are afraid of Cross Fit and that's okay... there are other classes that challenge both your cardio and your weight training abilities. You have no choice but to get stronger and leaner!
