I've been going to Frequency for a little over a year and a half. I originally started with their Boot Camp program, then moved on to Pulse, and eventually in to CrossFit. I find the programing to be very engaging and really enjoy the group atmosphere. The workouts are all scalable so anyone at any level can come in and get a good workout in. The coaches are all super helpful and encouraging, and the community environment with everyone that goes there can't be beat.I highly recommend everyone giving it a shot, especially the CrossFit skeptics, like I was!

I absolutely love Frequency Fitness! I heard about their 4 week challenge from a co-worker and decided to do it before being in my best friend's wedding! The timing was perfect. I actually kept the weight off through the wedding weekend! This gym goes above and beyond just their scheduled workouts! They are willing to help with form, technique and nutrition. They all want everyone to succeed and be happy in their own skin. I highly recommend FF!!!

Frequency Fitness is unlike any gym I’ve ever been a part of. The coaches truly care about each person and push you to be the best version of yourself. The workouts are challenging, always different and never boring! One of the things I love the most are the amazing people I’ve met and how welcoming the environment is. Try it out, you will be glad you did!!

I came to Frequency looking for a fitness community and have found just that. I’ve made some amazing friends here and am so thankfulfor the way they push me to work harder than I ever would alone. The coaching is also top notch. They focus on form and proper execution every time. The coaches make the workouts accessible to anyone and challenging for all fitness levels. The variety in the workouts ensures that you will not plateau or get bored.

If you are looking for a gym that has a great community that will support and inspire you then look no further. The coaching staff is very knowledgeable and strive to challenge you during every workout. The coaches instantly make new people feel comfortable and have pride in keeping everyone safe through correct technique.I joined frequency about two years ago because I needed a change in my fitness journey. I became pregnant over a year ago and continued to workout during my entire pregnancy at frequency. The coaching staff was extremely helpful and mindful in modifying workouts to ensure i was safely exercising throughout my pregnancy.I decided to do the operation crush challenge to help get back on track after having a baby and I am so happy I did. I have found inspiration in everyone around me through continued support, positivity and competitiveness that members bring to this gym everyday!

"I'll start by saying I first started Frequency Fitness with little to ZERO gym experience 4 weeks ago! I joined a challenge called the Summer Shred which is a 4 week challenge. The challenge included meal plans which were sooo easy to read, 3 workouts a week, two super detailed total body scans on this fancy machine, and best of all unlimited support from the coaches. I have learned so much in the last 4 weeks, and went from not being able to breathe running 150 meters to almost completing a 3 minute plank this morning! Waking up at 4:40 am and driving to Long Point Road from James Island says all too well how much I enjoyed this challenge! I can say there is not a single time I walked in there that I felt out of place. I didn't even know I was doing cross fit! I felt so accomplished after every workout and I felt like the coaches really took the time to show you all the different reps. The music playing is AMAZING, the water fountain is COLD, the people are so NICE, and it's really AMAZING TO WATCH THE TRANSFORMATION! I strongly suggest that if you are looking for a relaxed family friendly atmosphere and an amazing workout you stumbled across the right review to absolutely confirm all of those things! Once a FreqFam always a FreqFam!"I'm convinced!

Four weeks ago I decided to take on the 4 Week Fit Body Challenge with Frequency Fitness. I did a similar challenge a year ago. I pushed too hard too fast and wound up with a knee injury and we all know that takes time to heal. I travel for work so it's not easy to get into a challenge like this and make it work with my sometimes crazy schedule BUT it seems like everything fell into place for this one. I'm really glad it did. The word "challenge" means that it wasn't easy. I had to rethink my diet, commit to getting my butt to the gym 3 days a week, and probably the biggest challenge for me...sticking it out for the whole 4 weeks.First there was the body scan. UGH! Yeah that hurt! The number that set off alarm bells in my brain was my percent body fat and my visceral fat score. Visceral fat is fat that is in and around vital organs. Having that fat makes it more difficult for the organs to function properly and sooner or later causes major health issues.Food is my weakness. I love food. Temptation is literally all around me. I live walking distance from a bakery, a cupcake shop, and really yummy restaurants. It was hard not to cave to the smell of fresh bagels. Coach Shannon talked about changing our mindset and viewing food as fuel for our bodies. So I asked myself this question..."Do I want to live to eat?" -or- "Do I want to eat to live?"!It was only 3 workouts a week, 12 workouts total that I committed to in 4 weeks. I work 2nd shift so that means I had to look at the schedule and find 3 days where the class time fit my work schedule. That part was easy. Ugh but there were days when my alarm went off at 7:30am after I'd just hit the bed at 1:30am that I'd want to just roll back over and bail on my commitment. That's when I'd hear Coach Riley in my head screaming, "Come ON Alison! Don't you dare give up on me!" Trust & Believe folks that's enough to get anybody moving. As reluctant as I am to get up and go sometimes, I'm ALWAYS glad I that I got it done. So every day I make it to and through a work out I consider a small gain towards a much bigger goal.I've learned to compete not with others but with myself. Leave a little more sweat on the floor than I did last time. Push a little harder than yesterday. At the same time I still have a couple of people I see in each class who motivate me.Yes there's a cost associated with the Challenge and an invitation to roll over to a membership at the end. Consider this...Type 2 diabetes and hypertension run in my family. Those two conditions are exacerbated by being overweight. The cost to treat just those two conditions per year is an average (meaning said cost can be higher depending on how progressed the disease is) of $13,000 in medicines and visits to the MD...JUST for those conditions. The cost of my membership at Frequency Fitness is LESS than 20% of that $13,000. I'll let that sink in for a moment. Here's where I tell you my results. In 4 weeks and only 12 classes (I didn't do extra work outs because I wanted to measure this program on its own merits) I LOST:2% body fat, 1 point off my visceral fat score, and 4 pounds. Now let me tell you what I've GAINED...Lean muscle, a stronger core, overall strength, confidence, a passion for fitness, an outlet for my stress, and a desire to keep pushing for a healthy mind, body, and spirit. If I can do this everyone reading this can do this. I'm serious. If ever you've thought to yourself "Man I need to get in shape. I need to lose weight. I need to get healthy." I strongly recommend Frequency Fitness. You won't find another team of coaches or other members who care more about you and your success than they do.Unlike so many other gyms I've been to, these guys and gals TRULY CARE about you and not just that your membership money is paid every month. They reach out via phone call, email, or text to see how you're doing and if you have any issues or concerns and what you need help with. They will definitely keep you accountable and will notice when you miss a workout or two.

One day... one workout at a time! This is the way of the Frequency Fitness Family. They help you to stay focused on that 45 minutes of intensity. If youve never tired Cross Fit or HIIT classes it might scare you but not here... they welcome you with encouragement, positivity and the motivation to push yourself to your best. I did the 4 week Fit Challenge and fell in love with this place... I never thought I would crave an intense butt kicking like they dish out here, but I do! You have to try it once and you will be hooked!

I started with Frequency Fitness by doing their 4 Week Fit Body Challenge - this was one of the best decisions for my physical and mental health. This gym and program pushed me to finally take the next step to reaching my fitness and nutritional goals. I always thought I could do it on my own, but I underestimated the power of working with a team. Everyone at FF has been extremely helpful, friendly and they make it fun to come and workout. The support you have at FF is more than I ever thought would be possible at a gym. They truly care about your health and helping you achieve your goals. I definitely recommend FF and the 4 Week Fit Body Challenge. It has made a huge difference in my life making me aware that I need to put my health as a priority and I know that it can help you too!

I can't say enough about these coaches! They are super encouraging, well educated in all things exercise and nutrition. They are the true "total package" when it comes to a gym! I have a birthday coming up and with that I'll be heading into my last year in my 20's! I want to make sure that this year is my healthiest as I round that corner to 30 and the coaches are on board to getting me there. The atmosphere at Frequency alone, will have me coming back!
