I got a 1-week pass (email invitation) to try out but salesperson asked me to sign up for $1 for a week and continue $39.99/month if I like it. I was also told that I can cancel anytime within the initial week (no contract) and need not to pay anything. I really like the environment and wanted to continue but due to business travel for next three months, I needed to cancel it. When I asked to cancel, the GM said, the first charge of $39.99 will have to be paid no matter whether I cancel within the week of initial sign up. I live in the community and support local business but my experience with XSport@Naperville is not good and refrain from joining this in future. I will share this with my friends in the community as well so no one gets trapped.

It’s a good gym. Get the job done for when you need to workout. But I have some things where they can definitely improve upon: the bathrooms/ locker rooms, lighting, and availability of weights/ machines. First, the bathrooms/ locker rooms. They smell absolutely horrible. I think it’s one of the worst smells of all time. Especially in the bathroom. To describe the smell, I would say it smells worse than a port-a potty and sewer combined. The lighting is kinda crummy for when filming videos of workouts and such. Last the weights/ machines are basically completely filled during the evening and it’s hard to get a workout in. I would suggest extending the second floor to add in more space for free weights and racks. That would be absolutely amazing to see. Otherwise this gym gets the job done

I see a pattern in this feedback....they lied to my wife to get her to sign a contract then wouldn't let her out. She signed up for personal trainer services which they make you pay in advance then we were forced to move for work and they won't refund her for unused services. She SPECIFICALLY asked about that before signing up.We even filed a complaint with the corporate office that nobody cared to respond to.Bunch of incompetent scumbags running this place.UPDATE: The third party they contract to handle the large volume of customer issues connected me to somebody in the company who hid behind some obscure and illogical fine print to deny a refund. There are 100+ reviews of just this location that follow the same pattern in just the last year or so.There are too many red flags here to even begin to understand why anybody would want to do business with these people.1. You can't resolve issues locally2. When you use the established process to file a complaint with the corporate office they don't respond3. When you turn to social media they use a third party who has an elaborate tracking mechanism to track the large volume of complaints for this company...aka the company doesn't care enough to resolve issues themselves and needs the help from a 3rd party4. In the end you finally get to someone at the company who doesn't acknowledge the pattern of unethical behavior their employees use by saying anything to get people to sign a contract.Bottom line - if this place was the last place on earth where I could achieve the level of fitness that I desire, I'd rather stay morbidly obese.

I got a 30 day free membership. I went there one time for ten minutes. This is the most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot in. The stench In the locker room is the disguising and the steam room, let's say a homeless man would not even want too be in there. I spent 10 minutes here packed up my bag and left and will never return. Thank God I did not sign up for what he called was the deal of a lifetime. I went home took a shower and put my clothes In the washing machine with bleach. If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would. Please make sure you use your free trial before giving them your credit card number. I guarantee you will not join. All the other reviews about cleanliness are 100 percent accurate. If you don't believe get a free trial and see for yourself.

How bad this experience was:They bring you in and convince you to sign up, after that random prices. My baby opened her lip in the child care area, and nobody cared. The only reason I come here is because it’s Location is convenient for me.I went there four times for few minutes. This is the most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot in.The self-spa is the disguising. They walk right past full garbage cans and empty paper towel dispensers. They have a many of employees but it seems as if we are all standing around either talking to each other, eating, or walking around doing nothing. The treadmills are always disgusting and stuffed with dirty paper towels in the cupholders from guests cleaning the equipment.Garbage cans are consistently overflowing. The people who work there are not very friendly either.Customer service is a so bad. - I’ve called many of times.I’ve actually never seen a gym so poorly managed in my life.I went in to cancell and get my money back but the staff didn’t care.I just want my money back and everything cancelled.

The facility itself, equipment & pool is nice, BUT the assumptions from the assistant manager on the "Why" i was there was insulting. It was a shame that the manager tried to oversell everything they had. The person (Matt) that showed me around, he could have me joined easily as he listened and answer questions. But the manager that sat in, he was just an obnoxious car salesman, such a shame.$40/month (initiation cost with 1st & last month = over $200), and that doesn't include a towel? If you aren't in the best shape, prepare to have the staff ignore you and the patrons look down at you.I asked one of their trainers that was in the pool area, with a customer, "How many laps equals 1 mile in the pool?" He had no clue, had to use his phone to find number of yards in a mile (1,760 btw); 25 yard pool length need 35.2 laps for 1 mile...i made it 17 laps. Not all of the employees are bad, there were a couple that we nice, but majority could care less.A good chunk of this place is Salon, tanning, massage, water massage, hydration bed (?), infrared sauna, hair cuts & nails....fits right in for Naperville. If you want all those bells & whistles, enjoy. If you want to enjoy a workout without people looking down on you because you don't look like an Adonis, well forget it.

Honestly the most disgusting gym I have been in. Bathroom is absolutely horrible to be in and if my schedule wasn't so busy, I wouldn't ever shower here. I bring the cleanliness of the facility to the attention of guest services monthly and nothing is done.Equipment is nice though. So 2 Stars guess.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience ever . I singed up for the monthly membership back in August. $10/month doesn't sound so bad except they made me pay $100 dollar initiation fee. Fine. Then they made me pay $100 for a massage service I adamantly did not want. Fine. I got past it. Now they are renovating the equipment which is good. However now when you enter they won't give you a towel. I asked why they said oh you need to have a premium membership to have a towel. Are you kidding me? $100 initiation fee, $100 on a massage I never used and they say they can get me a funky ass towel? I call BS. That was not explained to me when I dished out $200 just to be part of the gym. Are these people idiots they want to make a money grab at a stupid towel? So when everyone sweats all over the equipment they won't have a towel to wipe themselves off with unless they pay double for the membership every month. The money doesn't bother me it's the principal and lack of explaining when I dished out $200 just to start going here. I'm done with this terribly managed placed. LA FITNESS has a great deal going on this month. That's where I'm headed I recommend you do the same before they start charging for the water fountain .

Decent facility, however compared to every single gym in 10 miles you won't find a dirtier gym. I'd know as I have visited with friends, used my other memberships to other locations, or have done tours. The drinking fountains upstairs have the weakest stream I've seen since my high school weight room 15 years ago (I have asked multiple times over the course of almost two years, 5 would be conservative). Unfortunately it is also always absolutely filthy and has the same colorful residue every time you go there. The ones downstairs are better (it's as simple as turning a lever inside the fountain). Always very busy and the quality of the machines are pretty lacking. Since they get constant use being such a large gym the cables aren't smooth on almost any machine. If you spray a bar or bench down and use a clean paper towel it will completely change the paper towels color. The steam room usually smells of urine, and the saunas wood could use new planks. The pool should be avoided, look in any direction underwater with goggles and you'll notice you can only see about 10 feet due to murk. The greeters and supplement staff are very friendly and courteous, there's an African American young lady in particular who is always exceptionally friendly and polite, smile on the face etc. Overall decent, over crowded, needs a renovation.Perks:-24/7-Great instructors for group fitness, especially yoga.-Proximity

This place is very unsafe as far as your belonging are concerned. I left my treadmill for 5 minutes and someone stole my iPhone within minutes. I tried to consult the front desk and they showed some sympathy and nothing more. No protocol for customers problems. I called the toll-free number to cancel my membership and mentioned about my loss and she asked if the staff logged a stolen incident report, which makes it quite obvious that the staff in that location had no clue what they are supposed to do. I have read other reviews on this page which talked about this place being full of thefts. I strongly feel they need a surveillance to curb this serious issue. And more over, the place is crowed, the locker rooms are super congested. Overall it's less value for your buck. The staff did not seem that great, unfriendly and they are overstaffed in my mind.
