EDIT July 2022: This gym's contracts are completely unfair to customers. Big Sky does not issue any sort of renewal notice, and Big Sky will automatically renew your contract without your consent, which may be a violation of Connecticut law. Read up on Connecticut General Statutes Sec. 21a-219.Second, the original contracts only provide limited grounds for cancellation, despite the fact that customers are expected to pay an annual fee up front. You may only cancel within 3 days of signing up, or else if you die, become disabled with proof of doctor's certificate, or move >25 miles from a Big Sky location and provide proof. This is not a consumer-friendly contract by any means.Other than that, the gym is pretty clean (it smells like sweat but few gyms don't), it is decently large, and is a pretty modern gym with nice employees. I have dealt with a ton of gyms in the past and this one is the best managed, better than LA Fitness especially.

Big Sky New Britain is by far the best gym i’ve ever been to. Every single team member there always has a smile on their face and greet you as soon as you walk through the door. Always positive, and happy to help you in any way. Kids Club, front desk, and the coaches are some of the best people i’ve ever met! Thanks big sky!

Great gym. I joined a few months ago have had nothing but a good experience. The staffs great, especially that John Sasso guy. I had no idea what I was doing and now I’m starting to look like a young Arnold thanks to him. Okay

Love this gym!! All of the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The gym is always so clean and there is a good variety of equipment. The trainers hold you accountable and get you results!

Big Sky New Britain is the best!! I’m always greeted by name, there’s a great selection of snacks/drinks, and all the equipment you could want. You can tell the staff prides themselves on putting the client first and ensuring a clean gym. By far my favorite Big Sky to go to in the area!!

Best gym I've been to! Took time off after having my daughter and tried another gym that was closer to me and it wasn't the same. Very friendly and welcoming staff and great kids club!Erica ,the manager always takes care of me!!

Amazing place to work out! The equipment is always state of the art, entire facility is cleaned and spotless, trainers are incredible and staff is always friendly and willing to help with whatever you may need. I have also put my daughter in the kids club and the staff there are always excited to see her!
