New York Sports Club

I was considering joining so I went for a workout and half the equipment I personally planned to use was broken. Multiple people were waiting around awkwardly to use a lot of the things that did work. Also, I'm pretty sure the treadmills (I tried two) were not accurate. Finally, there were a few teenagers that were kind of just in the way, messing around and not really working out but still hogging equipment for literally no reason at all. I'm not sure if this is always the case, but I definitely won't be going back to this gym.

It’s convenient to where I live but compared to other NEw York sports clubs it’s really disappointing. There is no consistency in the machines. The showers in the men’s room are disgusting. Four shower stalls in the men’s locker room. 1 shower puts out scalding hot water (when it’s in order), another shower puts out cold water, one has little pressure and lukewarm water, I don’t know what the handicap shower does (I don’t use it out of respect for the elderly members and disabled). The steam room has trash and I am certain is never clean. I do not trust the complimentary shampoo conditioner and body wash dispensers. There was blood on the floor in the locker room, and a bloody towel on the shelf. I called the front desk and they came in to clean it, but did not do it with a blood pathogen clean up. So basically the mop used on the floors is probably contaminated. The staff is loud and obnoxious, I can hear them jeering through noise canceling headphones. The staff that run the front desk and the daycare are gems in the rough, they are very respectful and polite.

Staff very friendly...convenient location

Ready for over crowded place which is actually in building basement. Over priced membership compare to facility. Old nosiy machines and rude management. Locals have no choice to go anywhere else.

Pretty decent. Parking and the gym are around back, could use some more equipment however the space itself is small.

Machines always broken. Dreary and depressing. Just cannot stand to go there. parking is the best feature of this gym.

Justin is extremely talented. He makes personal training fun. I was a little intimidated when I started, but each time I'm getting stronger. And it's due to Justin.

Thg is place is so friendly and comfortable. They staff very friendly and classes are great. Mangement has done alot better since the years i have been here. If you ever have question gaby is thy e right person to help.
